Still, Heath ultimately decided to warn the man. After all, parasites could be a very serious matter, and even at their least serious, they were no small concern. Any parasite, even roundworms living in the intestines, could cause severe illness if not treated promptly. Heath had once seen some rather disturbing pictures. One showed a section of intestine that doctors had removed from a patient, packed full of roundworms. The worms had swollen the intestine to such an enormous size that Heath could hardly imagine it was a human intestine. So once parasites were discovered, they needed to be dealt with as soon as possible, or there would be no end of trouble.
What was more, the parasites in this man had already migrated far enough to move around inside his eyeball. If they could enter and leave his eyeball, that essentially meant there was a possibility they could cause problems in his brain, or even enter it. If the parasites really did get into his brain, then even a miracle might not save him.
For all that humans could now travel into space to reach the moon and descend into the ocean to catch fish, there were still aspects of their own bodies they had yet to fully understand. The brain, for instance, was a dangerous area. If parasites burrowed into it, even the medical techniques of the Pokémon world would have some difficulty dealing with them. However, Heath had heard that the Pokémon world had some exceptionally skilled Psychic-type Pokémon medical specialists who could use their psychic powers to remove parasites from patients' bodies. Whether they could remove parasites from the brain, though, Heath did not know.
"Excuse me, sir. Could I trouble you for a moment?" Heath politely approached the man and asked. The man gave Heath
