Heath was quite confident that he would be able to see Ralts. After all, with that pass, he could visit her anytime and anywhere. The only question was probably how long Ralts could stay. After all, Ralts was a Pokémon who had lived only a short time. Although she had lingered in the human world because her death had been so unjust, she was still a Pokémon who had lived for less than a month.
Heath knew the rules of life in the Distortion World very well. The people and Pokémon in that world grew younger the longer they lived; in other words, they lived backward. A Charizard would slowly become a Charmeleon, then a Charmander, and finally be reincarnated. At Ralts's age, she would probably soon reach the point of reincarnation, wouldn't she? "I did send off a few ghosts before, but the problem is, I didn't know at the time whether those ghosts went to live in the Distortion World or were reincarnated straight away. If time spent in the living world counts toward time in the Distortion World, then Ralts might have to be reincarnated as soon as she gets down there, right?" Heath scratched his head.
Heath glanced down at his phone. It was still very early, with over twenty minutes until he opened for business, and he still had to use that time to prepare breakfast. Before that, though, Heath planned to try out the pass and see what it would be like after he entered the Distortion World. He also wanted to know whether only he could go, or
