Kanto Silverfish, a possible local specialty ingredient of Vermilion City. Although it was only a possibility, Heath actually felt that it was pretty much confirmed. There was little else to say about it. After all, Heath had investigated Vermilion City, and there seemed to be no other candidates besides Kanto Silverfish. Although most of the other ingredients were fairly precious too, Heath did not think they met the requirements for Vermilion City's local specialty ingredient.
This ingredient should have been quite difficult to obtain. At the very least, Heath had spent several days looking around without encountering any. With Lugia's help, however, everything became simple and easy. Before long, Lugia had brought Heath a whole bag full of Kanto Silverfish. After draining the water, Heath discovered that there were still a full two kilograms of them.
Two kilograms of Kanto Silverfish might not sound like much, but Heath actually thought it was a lot. After all, these fish were not very big, so two kilograms made for a densely packed mass that could make one's scalp crawl. For Heath, though, this was a good thing. At least he could cook them without holding back, and with his previous experience, he now had some ideas of his own about how to prepare them.
This time, Heath felt he could make a good dish of Kanto Silverfish and try to earn the system's reward. Even if he failed, it would not matter. He had two kilograms of Kanto Silverfish, enough for him to take his time experimenting however things went, so his mood brightened.
"Thank you so much, Lugia," Heath said with a smile. Lugia hurriedly waved her hands and politely said that compared with the help Heath had given her back then, finding some Kanto Silverfish was the smallest possible repayment.
