Mountain Guardians was a brand, one that was not particularly well known, but would turn up in a search for the most expensive mountain delicacies. It was an exceedingly rare, seldom-seen brand that primarily sold all kinds of top-quality mountain delicacies. Some of the finest mountain produce in the Pokémon world came from Mountain Guardians. At present, though, the brand was essentially under the League's control, partly because it was highly profitable, and partly because of the story behind it.
"Mountain Guardians, huh. This stuff isn't easy to buy. Even money won't get you any." Heath smacked his lips. As a chef, he knew a fair amount about all kinds of ingredients, and he coveted much of the mountain produce sold by Mountain Guardians. Heath thought it qualified as a delicacy worthy of the Gourmet Pokédex, but it was far too difficult to obtain. Unlike other wood ear mushrooms, it had the shape of one, but a jade-like color that was very beautiful.

This was not something ordinary people could get, much like certain special-supply teas in China in his previous life. Ordinary people could not buy them even if they had money, and might not even know such teas existed. Although Mountain Guardians was reasonably well known, it sold rare mountain produce of that same sort. Cynthia had probably obtained it as a perk of being the League Champion. The League offered very generous benefits to top trainers like the Champion and the Elite Four. Mountain Guardians products were hard for other people to come
