Heath admitted that he had felt somewhat unaccustomed to things when he first arrived in this world. After all, in his understanding, Pokémon were companions-companions that were not to be eaten. Later, however, he discovered that this world did indeed have a custom of eating Pokémon, and the Legendary Pokémon had no objections to it either. Still, the League had detailed classifications and regulations concerning which Pokémon were edible. More than once, this had made Heath wonder whether the League had secretly conducted experiments back then to determine what could be eaten and what could not. Heath thought it was quite possible. Admittedly, the idea sounded a little horrifying, but as he looked at the Tauros beef that seemed rather ordinary beside the expensive yellow cattle beef, he still did not choose it.
"Wow, Uncle Heath, is this your vegetable market? There's so much stuff on display." It was a familiar voice, but Heath instinctively stiffened all over. Immediately afterward, he heard exclamations of surprise from all around him, and then a crowd raised their phones toward his position. Heath knew, however, that they were not taking pictures of him, but of something else. For example...
Heath turned his head and saw that Little Lugia had flown out at some point and was following beside him, curiously examining the vegetable market before them. Heath could not help covering his face. He felt that his peaceful life had been completely shattered.
Lugia and Ho-Oh, those two Legendary Pokémon, were totems and objects of worship in Kanto and the Johto Region. Their status was extremely exalted, even higher than Mew's. Since Mew was so elusive, though, its appeal was somewhat greater. But this was Lugia! Lugia!
Lugia was a powerful Legendary Pokémon known as the Sea God, and it possessed tremendous strength.
