Xiumei left after finishing her meal, though she shyly took Xiunian's and Xiuhui's portions with her as well. Heath watched cheerfully, then accepted the payment she gave him: an oddly shaped stone. Apparently, Xiumei had found it while wandering around with nothing to do. Heath examined the stone. It was quite ordinary, but its shape really was distinctive, looking rather like a heart. Still, Heath swore that anyone hoping to give this as a gift would probably end up staying single. After all, heart-shaped stones like this were fairly common. A heart-shaped gemstone might have been a more practical gift.
"But is this meal payment going to be settled along with everything else today?" Heath rubbed his chin. He had originally thought he would receive his reward after serving Xiumei, but no reward had popped up. Still, considering the huge crowd that might come later, he became much calmer. He thought the most likely possibility was that his rewards would accumulate until the end of today's business. Heath was quite looking forward to that. He really wanted to see what he could get by choosing a quality reward after closing today. But thinking of the surging crowds that would arrive later left him with mixed feelings. More customers meant more money, but the exhaustion was very real, too.
"Good morning, Mr. Heath." Before opening time had even arrived, people were already coming to Heath's place. This time, however, they were not tourists, but League staff. They had come to help Heath serve customers. They had already anticipated that he would have a lot of customers, but the numbers had still exceeded their expectations, which was why a few more servers had come today.
"Good morning. Sorry for the trouble. Come have some breakfast?" Heath welcomed the servers warmly. Without them,
