Heath's work serving customers went smoothly, though he occasionally ran into some difficult ones. After all, so many people had come to the Technology Expo that there were bound to be a few exceptionally bizarre customers. Fortunately, they were in the minority, so Heath's restaurant had not encountered any particularly troublesome problems. That came as a relief. He took out his phone and checked the time. It was already two in the afternoon. Admittedly, that felt a little unbelievable, but in fact, anyone who got busy would have a similar experience: time seemed to speed up considerably, and before they knew it, a day had passed.
"Excuse me, do you serve raw-marinated seafood here?" The unfamiliar voice belonged to a middle-aged woman. She was tastefully dressed and glittered with gold, looking wealthy at a glance.
"Raw-marinated seafood? Of course. What kind would you like?" Heath raised his eyebrows but answered her nonetheless. Naturally, he had raw-marinated seafood available. That was hardly surprising, since he stocked most ingredients, though it still depended on exactly what the customer wanted.
Personally, Heath did not particularly recommend raw-marinated seafood to his customers. Many people believed that strong alcohol such as baijiu could kill parasites, bacteria, and the like, but even high-proof alcohol could not necessarily kill parasites, so relying on baijiu for sterilization was essentially not viable. Others believed that freezing the seafood beforehand was enough, but that was not foolproof either. There was still a risk of parasitic infection. The safest approach was actually to cook it thoroughly over high heat. As long as all the seafood was fully cooked, there was no need to worry about the other problems. That was the safest way to eat it.
"I'd like raw-marinated tuna. Can you make that here?" The woman made an odd request.
