Ch. 327The blacksmiths of Gengxin City

After Miho Nishizumi reported that the Sun Moon Continent had destroyed every reconnaissance Warp Prism, Leng Xiyue decided to accelerate plans to conquer the Star Luo Empire. In Gengxin City, blacksmith leader Lou Gao received a covert offer to help overthrow the Empire, leaving him preparing to act for his craftsmen’s freedom.

  • Miho Nishizumi told Leng Xiyue that the Sun Moon Continent had shot down all two hundred Warp Prisms, and Leng Xiyue agreed that unifying the continent by taking the Star Luo Empire was necessary.
  • Miho Nishizumi explained that Spirit Hall planned a Sect Conference to choose new Seven Great Sects, giving Xue'er a chance to bring the Clear Sky Sect back into the world.
  • The Star Luo Emperor’s government forced Gengxin City’s blacksmiths to work longer hours and imposed an impossible weapons quota, while Governor Dai refused Lou Gao’s request for subsidies.
  • After Governor Dai threatened Lou Gao with consequences for failing the quota, a covert device delivered a message urging him to help bring down the Empire and a blueprint for a Large-Caliber Pistol.
  • Lou Gao recognized that the uprising could give his ten thousand loyal craftsmen a chance at freedom and began preparing to take part.

Ch. 328The World Had Suffered Under Star Luo for Too Long!

Lou Gao organized Gengxin City's blacksmiths to resist Star Luo after Dai Mubai's rebellion triggered a wider civil war and the empire began forcibly relocating craftsmen. The blacksmiths killed Governor Dai and drove Star Luo's troops from the city, then prepared to face a much larger army gathering outside its walls.

  • Lou Gao secretly withheld military equipment, recruited loyal craftsmen to build hand cannons, and kept Governor Dai off guard as Dai Mubai seized two provinces and the conflict with Star Luo escalated.
  • Star Luo forces began abducting blacksmiths' families and burning homes to force their relocation, prompting thousands of craftsmen to assemble at the Blacksmith Association and prepare to resist.
  • Lou Gao appeared with two modified cannons and led the blacksmiths in attacking Governor Dai's force; the blast gravely wounded Governor Dai, and blacksmiths finished him with pistols.
  • Lou Gao pursued the retreating Star Luo troops, moved the cannons to the city walls, and rallied Gengxin City's residents while Star Luo called in reinforcements.
  • Star Luo assembled one hundred thousand troops outside Gengxin City, including fifty thousand armored elites, and Lou Gao deployed six thousand of his eight thousand defenders to the eastern city in preparation for battle.

Ch. 329Hell on Earth

Star Luo forces poisoned Gengxin City after failing to break its defenses, killing most of its civilians while Lou Gao led a group through the mountains toward Dai Mubai’s territory. After learning of the atrocity, Dai Mubai saw Leng Xiyue announce that the Jiuzhou Empire had declared war on Star Luo, transforming the conflict into a far larger campaign.

  • Star Luo’s Twelfth Legion, commanded by Dai Hua, failed to take Gengxin City by assault, so Dai Hua ordered poison attacks and the contamination of its water supply.
  • Poison spread through Gengxin City, killing civilians in huge numbers, and Lou Gao led more than ten thousand people west into the mountains to seek refuge in Dai Mubai’s territory.
  • Dai Mubai learned that Star Luo had destroyed Gengxin City and lamented that his forces could not rescue its people in time.
  • Li Mengdie showed Dai Mubai a projection of Leng Xiyue, who denounced the massacre and declared that the Jiuzhou Empire would wage war on Star Luo and destroy its Imperial Family.

Ch. 330Nationwide uprising

The Star Luo Empire’s people rose in revolt while Dai Yun launched a powerful attack against Dai Mubai and Heaven Dou’s allied forces. After the allies were routed, Dai Yun learned that Star Luo City had fallen.

  • News of the crisis sparked a nationwide uprising, as rebels attacked government troops, depots, and supply routes.
  • Dai Yun dismissed the threat from the distant Jiuzhou Empire and ordered his million-strong army to attack Dai Mubai and Heaven Dou’s forces.
  • Star Luo’s Griffin Cavalry used bullet-deflecting armor to break through the allied defenses and devastate their firearms-based army.
  • Bone Douluo and two Heaven Dou Titled Douluo fought Star Luo’s four Titled Douluo, but the allied forces were defeated and forced to retreat.
  • As Star Luo’s armies advanced toward the allied headquarters, a guard reported that Star Luo City had fallen, and Dai Yun picked up the report in alarm.

Ch. 331The final showdown

Leng Xiyue’s Protoss forces seized Star Luo City, captured its nobles, and advanced to confront Dai Yun’s army. The overwhelming strength of her troops routed Star Luo’s million-strong army, and they charged toward Dai Yun’s central camp.

  • Warp Prisms brought Legionnaires and Stalkers into Star Luo City, where they quickly overwhelmed its defenders and captured Dai Weisi, Zhu Zhuyun, and the city’s nobles.
  • Leng Xiyue placed Star Luo City under military administration, dispersed her forces to pacify the provinces, and led the main army toward Dai Yun’s base.
  • Dai Yun prepared to fight Leng Xiyue after his attack on Dai Mubai’s allied army, and the two forces met on Star Luo’s central plains.
  • Protoss Legionnaires slaughtered the Star Luo cavalry and elite Griffin Legion and Ten Thousand Beasts Legion despite being vastly outnumbered.
  • After casualties broke their morale, the Star Luo troops fled, and the Protoss legion charged toward Dai Yun’s central army camp.

Ch. 332The Fall of the Star Luo Emperor

The Protoss legion shattered the Star Luo army, and Dai Yun was betrayed and killed by a trusted Titled Douluo before Leng Xiyue could capture him. After learning that the killer had taken the White Tiger Jade Seal, Leng Xiyue suspected the Sun Moon Empire was moving against her and prepared to advance the Jiuzhou Empire’s war readiness.

  • The Protoss legion fought through the Star Luo army, while Stalkers and two Immortals overwhelmed Dai Yun’s experts.
  • Dai Yun refused to retreat, but a trusted Titled Douluo stabbed him, suppressed his Soul Power, stole the White Tiger Jade Seal, and killed him.
  • With Dai Yun dead, the Star Luo generals withdrew their forces, and the traitorous Titled Douluo escaped the battlefield.
  • Leng Xiyue discovered Dai Yun’s corpse and learned that the White Tiger Jade Seal could unlock the Star Luo Imperial Clan Secret Treasury and its Holy King Inheritance.
  • Leng Xiyue suspected the Sun Moon Empire was preparing to act and decided the Jiuzhou Empire needed stronger war preparations.

Ch. 333The Mechanical Research Institute and the Stargate

Leng Xiyue reorganized Star Luo as a dependency of the Jiuzhou Empire and unlocked the Stargate after submitting the Asura God's Token. As the Sect Conference began in Spirit City, she prepared to draw Tang San and Tang Hao into her plans while considering a future campaign against Sea God Island.

  • Leng Xiyue learned that she had completed the third stage of the Build a Faction mission, unlocked the Dominate Douluo Star mission, and received the Spear of Adun.
  • Leng Xiyue left Star Luo's affairs to Dai Mubai and Zhu Zhuqing as Star Luo became a governorate under the Jiuzhou Empire.
  • Leng Xiyue submitted the Asura God's Token and unlocked the Stargate, though she still needed other legacy items to activate its air units.
  • Leng Xiyue considered using her future Academy Ship fleets to take Sea God Island if its people refused to obey.
  • Leng Xiyue welcomed Tang San back and told him to meet her the next day, while Tang San privately suspected she intended to use him.
  • Leng Xiyue and her people arrived in Spirit City for the Sect Conference, where factions would compete to be selected as the new Upper Three Sects and Lower Four Sects.

Ch. 334Sect Conference

Leng Xiyue and Qian Renxue opened the Sect Conference as Tang Hao sent Tang San to return to the Clear Sky Sect. Tang San planned to build influence there, but his arrival was recognized by Tang Jin, who secretly followed him.

  • Leng Xiyue announced that the Sect Conference would select the Upper Three Sects and Lower Four Sects, and Qian Renxue declared it open.

  • Tang San agreed, intending to unite the Clear Sky Sect and use it to revive the Tang Sect Hidden Weapons.
  • Tang San collided with Tang Jin, who recognized him but concealed his anger and let him continue toward the Clear Sky Sect's lodgings.
  • Tang Jin secretly watched Tang San and smiled when he realized where Tang San was headed.

Ch. 335The Empire First Fleet

Leng Xiyue showed Qian Renxue and Gu Yuena the Empire’s nearly finished First Fleet and explained the Immortality Project. Gu Yuena left reassured about soul masters’ immortality, but began to wonder whether Leng Xiyue’s new humanity could one day surpass the Divine Realm’s restraints.

  • Leng Xiyue explained that the Empire’s First Fleet would be ready to sail within six months and that two more fleets would follow.
  • Qian Renxue saw the fleet’s steel flagship, weapons, and support vessels and realized it could become the planet’s most powerful military force.
  • Gu Yuena focused on the Immortality Project, and Leng Xiyue explained that it preserved ordinary people’s souls as data while soul masters would lose their powers and soul-related possessions.
  • Gu Yuena felt reassured that the technology was not designed for soul masters, then wondered whether Leng Xiyue’s new humanity could eventually break past the Divine Realm’s limits.

Ch. 336Clear Sky Sect Jiedushi

Leng Xiyue responded to Tang San’s bid for power in the Clear Sky Sect by appointing him its Jiedushi, using the move to test both him and the sect. She explained that Tang San still served her plans for the Sea God’s inheritance and hinted that Qian Daoliu might have a chance to reunite with Bo Saixi.

  • A maid reported that Tang San had returned to the Clear Sky Sect, where he was accused of killing fellow disciples and invoked Leng Xiyue’s name to avoid being expelled.
  • Leng Xiyue concluded that Tang San intended to use the Clear Sky Sect as his own power base and decided to grant him authority while keeping the option to withdraw it.
  • Leng Xiyue gave Old Chrysanthemum a remote control and ordered him to appoint Tang San Clear Sky Sect Jiedushi, citing the need to supervise the sect’s integration into the new order.
  • Qian Renxue asked why Leng Xiyue did not kill Tang San, and Leng Xiyue said he could help her obtain the Sea God’s inheritance token and strengthen their forces.
  • Leng Xiyue reminded Qian Renxue that Bo Saixi was Sea God Island’s Great Enshrined, and Qian Renxue considered the possibility of her grandfather, Qian Daoliu, rekindling their old romance.

Ch. 337A Cruel Future

Leng Xiyue told Gu Yuena that the Book of Prophecy foretold her eventual alliance with the Tang Family and the near-extinction of the Soul Beasts. Gu Yuena rejected that future and vowed never to abandon her people.

  • Qian Renxue questioned whether Bo Saixi could truly love Tang Chen for decades, and Leng Xiyue argued that Bo Saixi might join their side when they claimed Sea God Island.
  • Gu Yuena asked Leng Xiyue about her future, and Leng Xiyue recounted how Gu Yuena would create Na'er, fall in love with a human, have a child, and become the Life God.
  • Gu Yuena asked what would happen to the Soul Beasts, and Leng Xiyue said they would be hunted nearly to extinction while Gu Yuena joined the Tang Family's rule of the Divine Realm.
  • Leng Xiyue described Gu Yuena's son leading a brutal expedition against alien races, and Gu Yuena realized that the Soul Beasts could lose their last protector.
  • Gu Yuena declared that she would never abandon the Soul Beasts, despite the future Leng Xiyue had described.

Ch. 338Chapter 338

Leng Xiyue explained that the altered future had already changed the planet’s fate and identified Sea God Island and the Sun Moon Empire as the next areas of interest. Meanwhile, Miho Nishizumi traveled to Orlan Island to recruit naval commanders for the Empire, planning to test candidates with a staged attack on an Imperial Escort Destroyer.

  • Leng Xiyue pointed out Sea God Island and the Sun Moon Empire on a projected map as possible next steps.
  • Miho Nishizumi recalled a naval-warfare expert she once knew while standing at Orlan Island’s commercial port with Qin Menglan.
  • Miho described the ocean’s Trade Guilds, Pirates, and Alliance, and said she believed the islands held useful naval talent.
  • Miho proposed posting a bounty that challenged candidates to raid a lone Imperial Escort Destroyer under a scenario arranged by the Empire.
  • Miho planned to recruit anyone who demonstrated both courage and strategic ability, expecting them to join the Empire and eventually become Senior Generals.

Ch. 339Adventurers Association

Miho Nishizumi and Qin Menglan explored Orlan Island, where Miho learned that the Alliance’s new leader had sharply raised taxes and ordered conspicuous towers built. Suspecting the towers had a military purpose, Miho considered the risk of conflict before going to the Mercenary Association to seek capable adventurers.

  • Miho Nishizumi and Qin Menglan browsed the dockside market, where a stallholder explained that mainlanders paid higher prices and complained that the new Alliance leader had raised commercial taxes from ten to fifty percent.
  • Miho Nishizumi bought goods in bulk and arranged for them to be delivered to their ship at Pier Thirteen.
  • Miho Nishizumi and Qin Menglan secretly examined Orlan Island’s new towers and saw naval soldiers carrying wrapped materials inside; Miho suspected the buildings were fortified for military use.
  • Miho Nishizumi worried that the Alliance might be preparing to resist the Empire and that conflict could cost many lives.
  • Miho Nishizumi and Qin Menglan visited Orlan Island’s Mercenary Association to find adventurers accustomed to dangerous missions in sea-soul-beast territory.

Ch. 340The Legend of the Sea of Death (Part 1)

Miho Nishizumi visited the Adventurers' Association to post a million-gold-soul-coin bounty for a capable naval commander, and guild master Xue Ming suggested the pirate Zi Zhenzhu as a candidate. After Miho asked about the unknown waters west of Sea God Island, Xue Ming identified them as the Sea of Death, a forbidden region from which no one returned.

  • Miho Nishizumi offered a million gold soul coins for a difficult task, prompting the receptionist to bring her and Qin Menglan to guild master Xue Ming.
  • Xue Ming introduced his family’s Heaven Dou ancestry and expressed his willingness to help Miho and the empire.
  • Miho explained that she wanted to find a young, capable commander to lead the empire’s fleet, and Xue Ming discussed the limitations of traditional commanders and pirates.
  • Xue Ming named Zi Zhenzhu, a Soul Saint in her thirties who led one of the most powerful pirate factions, as a possible commander.
  • Miho asked about the black region west of Sea God Island, and Xue Ming warned that it was the Sea of Death, where no one survived entering.
