Aman opened his tenth cave heaven and began transcending the extreme realm by opening small cave heavens throughout his body.

  • The Willow Deity revealed that the Eight Regions held both imprisoned enemies and sanctuaries, then allowed Shi Hao to learn the Six Paths of Reincarnation Heavenly Art and the Grass Character Sword Art.
  • A white bone cauldron emerged from the village medicine cauldron and joined the precious box, revealing the Primitive True Explanation's Transcendence Chapter.

Ch. 31The Pu Demon's death, immortal qi's nourishment

Chen Yao and his allies tracked down and killed the young Pu Demon, then trapped the weakened Pu Demon King and destroyed his lower-realm bodies and seeds. They forced his remnant soul into an interrupted reincarnation, consuming his shattered Dao fruit to strengthen the immortal qi and aid the recovering Immortal Kings and Willow Deity.

  • Chen Yao entered the Void God Realm, where Second Under Heaven and Immortal Gold Daoist divined the Pu Demons' locations and sent him to the young Pu Demon.
  • Chen Yao used Five Elements Divine Light to strip the young Pu Demon's defenses, and Shi Hao and Chen Yao burned him and his hidden seeds to ash.
  • Immortal Gold Daoist used the Void God Realm's formation to sever the Pu Demon King's returning Dao fruit, while Willow Deity and Second Under Heaven helped seal his remnant soul and destroy his lower-realm bodies and seeds.

The chapter left Shi Hao still comprehending the Kunpeng Method in the Kunpeng Nest and Aman preparing to challenge Shi Yi.

  • Chen Yao devised a plan to use the Pu Demon Method as a catalyst, testing and cultivating Pu Demon Seeds so they could inflict negative conditions on opponents as a precious technique.

  • Willow Deity learned from the Transcendence Chapter that alternative immortalization could lead to a Mortal World Immortal Dao fruit and allow her to remain on that path outside a Dharma-ending age.
  • After recovering to the pinnacle of the supreme Dao, Willow Deity chose to delay returning to the Immortal King realm and pursue the Mortal World Immortal Dao fruit.
  • Stone Village's children repeatedly trained around Chen Yao's dandelion-like Pu Demon Trees, while the adults used the exercise to keep them from joining hunting trips.

After Shi Hao defeated Shi Yi, Chen Yao confronted Yue Chan about the coming Upper Realm calamity and the truth behind the so-called sin blood. Yue Chan realized Chen Yao knew far more than he had revealed and ordered the Heaven Mending Sect to avoid the Stone Kingdom and let rival factions face the danger.

Ch. 43Speaking of Immortal Mountain, Conceiving Grand Luo Insight

Chen Yao revealed that Shi Hao’s parents were imprisoned at Immortal Mountain and separated from their younger son, Qin Hao, prompting the Willow Deity to promise to intervene. As Chen Yao pondered how to cultivate Grand Luo Insight, he sensed a divine-flame-wreathed man carrying a fragment of the Reincarnation Disk in the Great Wilderness.

  • Chen Yao told the Great Demon God that the Willow Deity would act to stop the great calamity and explained that Shi Hao’s parents had gone to Immortal Mountain for sacred medicine.

  • The Reincarnation Disk explained that the Reincarnation Immortal King had hidden part of his primordial spirit and one-sixth of the disk in a Reincarnation Seal that vanished into the future.
  • The Reincarnation Disk revealed that the Divine Flame Man was Lun Zhuan, entrusted him to the Immortal Phoenix King for discipline, and chose to follow Chen Yao.

Ch. 45Reincarnation through past lives, a glimpse of Grand Luo

Chen Yao became the Reincarnation Disk’s charge and used reincarnation dreams to develop Grand Luo Insight. After more than a dozen lives, he mastered the art as a divine ability that let him vanish from perception and leave traces across spacetime.

  • The Reincarnation Disk ended its indulgence of Lunzhuan, assigned the Immortal Phoenix King to train him, and chose Chen Yao as its new charge and Dao protector.
  • The Reincarnation Disk examined Grand Luo Insight and agreed to help Chen Yao explore reincarnation dreams, warning that the experience could make him lose himself.
  • Chen Yao lived through more than a dozen reincarnation dreams, alternately sealing and restoring his memories to study how his fate changed, and gained three Reincarnation Seals.

  • The Sky Desolation Halberd pierced Immortal Mountain and overturned Five Elements Mountain, forcing Qin Wu to his knees and exposing a chained golden being beneath the mountain.

Ch. 47Suppressing Immortal Mountain

The Willow Deity and Sky Desolation defeated the Five Elements Mountain, freed the Undying Being, and confronted the people of Immortal Mountain while Shi Hao reunited with his family. Ch. 50Taking Stock of His Arts, Heaven Communicating Talisman Art

Chen Yao assessed which of the Eight Extraordinary Skills remained useful in Perfect World and chose Heaven Communicating Talisman Art as his path for the Inscription Realm. He began deconstructing how the art bypassed traditional talismanic registers and rituals by establishing a complete heavenly court within the cultivator.

  • Chen Yao compared the Eight Extraordinary Skills with Perfect World's methods and judged Grand Luo Insight and Feng Hou's Mystic Gate to be the most exceptional.
  • Chen Yao identified several skills as obsolete or partly redundant, then began studying the Eight-Nine Heavenly Art as a possible aid to Qi-State Origin-Flow.
  • After half a month of taking stock, Chen Yao chose Heaven Communicating Talisman Art as his Inscription Realm path.
  • Chen Yao explained that ordinary talismanic registers required ritual procedures and authorization from a Mystic Register before talismans could borrow supernatural power.
  • Chen Yao concluded that Heaven Communicating Talisman Art bypassed those restrictions by creating a complete human heavenly court and allowing its practitioner to wield every Mystic Register and talisman.
