Cheng Xinzhan watched the wind blow against the tribulation clouds and carefully estimated their speed. The clouds were moving toward his Golden Core fully five times faster, which meant his second Golden Core Tribulation would come in ten years.
Cheng Xinzhan was very satisfied with this speed.
He drew out another wisp of wind and sent it into the Yin Hall in his right eye, contemplating the Great Yin laws it contained.
This truly was an extraordinary Heavenly Gang. Despite being only a wisp, its arrival squeezed the "abundant rain gang," "Layered Clouds Veiling Heavenly Gang," "Purple fire rotten peach baleful intent," "North pole cold-light baleful intent," and "white calamity impermanence baleful intent" off to one side. It was domineering beyond measure.
At the same time, he discovered that, because he had gathered only five zhu of gang dew on this wind-gathering trip, not much plain wind had manifested in his Yellow Court. Although he had drawn out only a wisp, it still affected the speed at which the tribulation clouds were blown toward his Golden Core. The effect was slight, though, probably delaying it by only ten days or half a month.
Still, this showed that the quantity of gang dew greatly affected the tribulation clouds.
Cheng Xinzhan remembered Monk Han Shi saying that few in Western Kham cultivated the "suffering of declining wind." He knew of only two.
One, the Withered-Longevity Chan Monastery, had already fallen to him. The other, Stone Plum Ancient Temple, lay to the north and had now sought refuge with the White Bone Chan Cloister. He wondered what wind Stone Plum Ancient Temple had inherited-true declining wind, or a shortcut wind.
He ought to go and see. And judging by the immediate effect of the plain wind blowing against the tribulation clouds, sooner would
