The Dragon Kings of the Divine Land's seas each had their own peculiarities.
For instance, the one in the Yellow Sea called himself a lord, the two in the Eastern Sea called themselves sages, and the one in the Southern Sea still preferred to call himself an ancestor in private.
For instance, the Yellow Sea Dragon Lord built his palace on the seabed, the Sea-Covering Great Sage built his on an island, the Sky-Supporting Great Sage built his on a reef, and the Green-Robed Ancestor built his on land.
And for another example, the Yellow Sea Dragon Lord preferred two-character royal titles, granting them according to maritime territories: the Huainan Circuit received a Huainan King, and the Huaibei Circuit a Huaibei King. Simple and easy to understand. The two in the Eastern Sea preferred single-character royal titles, unrelated to maritime territories and based instead on the Demon Kings' own traits. Thus, the cold chi of the Qiantang Sea was titled the Cold King, and Tuolong of the Great Belly Sea was titled the Alligator King.
The one in the Southern Sea was different again. He went more by his mood, using either one character or two, sometimes bestowing titles based on places, sometimes on surnames. For example, Xinchेंnzi, who remained behind at the old territory on Hundred Barbarian Mountain, was titled the Barbarian King; the most recently promoted demon ancestor of Wumeng Mountain, the owl dragon Xiao Youshi, was titled the Wumeng King; and Mu Longzhang, the Poison Dragon Venerable and Sect Master of Ailao Mountain, was titled the Mu King. It seemed entirely arbitrary, leaving others scratching their heads.
But whatever the case, whether the titles had one character or two, whatever they were called, all those these four True Dragons crowned as kings were of the Fourth Realm,
