Dear readers, today is the last day of this month, and also the last day of 2025, so this time I've changed the chapter title to a year-end review.

First, let's look back over this month.

I think this month's update output was decent. Even if I wasn't "handling it with a blade's width to spare," I wasn't "scrambling and tumbling along," either.

I took two days off this month and posted an extra update on one day, making it one day off on balance. There were twelve days with over 5,000 characters and two with over 6,000. Converted into 4,000-character extra updates, that amounted to four extra updates.

Looking at the whole year, my update output could only be called unremarkable. I really didn't have many bursts of extra updates, but I hardly missed any days, either. I took an average of two days off each month, either to make time for errands or for health reasons. As far as I was concerned, that pretty much counted as working all year without a break.

Writer's Assistant had an annual report, which put my total published word count for the year at 1.6 million Chinese characters, averaging 4,383 per day over 365 days. As of today, Earthly Immortal's total word count has also reached 2.1 million characters, and it's about to reach the 500-chapter milestone.

According to the report, Earthly Immortal was read 19,355,216 times this year and added to favorites 238,217 times. Its total favorites count has now reached 300,000.

Earthly Immortal received a total of 4,612 tips this year. I won't thank you all individually here, but let me offer one collective thank-you: thank you to everyone who keeps me fed and clothed!

In addition, this book received a total of 110,613 comments this year. Again, I won't
