Wei Shan slowly narrowed his eyes. His face, which had remained unchanged even under the pressure of the Staff Passage, now showed a strong trace of wariness amid its excitement and menace.
He hunched slightly, like a male lion bristling under siege, radiating intense aggression.
At that moment, the Sky Blue Steam rapidly gathered, swirling and roaring around him.
Meanwhile, "yesterday's Lin Yi" watched from a short distance as Wei Shan gathered particles of white powder. He had no idea that what Wei Shan was actually gathering was this Sky Blue Steam, which shared its origin with Athlete Students. Those particles of white powder were merely the substance into which the tomato sauce dripping from the Black Leather Apron Chef's cleaver had ultimately transformed...
At that moment, a blue vortex seemed to form around Wei Shan. What happened next was something both "yesterday's Lin Yi" and the present Lin Yi saw perfectly clearly: blue and white light flowed through the sky-blue vortex, and as the two colors flickered in alternation, a blurry outline enveloped Wei Shan like a divine Dharma Form.
But Lin Yi, standing right beside Wei Shan now, saw more clearly than "yesterday's self." He distinctly saw an iron-tower-like figure emerge behind Wei Shan, like a primordial mountain rising from the earth!

In a fantasy novel, this would at least qualify as Wei Shan drawing upon a wisp of the Ancient Security Guard Emperor's aura at a critical moment, summoning some sort of phantom Dharma Form projection...
