I'm taking a break from the midnight update, okay? I mentioned it in the author's note for the previous chapter, but I was worried some of you might not see it, so I'm saying it again.
Also, there's definitely no way all four of those people who appeared recently will make it out alive. Would you like to see what they go through in detail (like Mountain Man's experiences in the Barren Land, as seen by Kuai Kuai), or would you prefer a brief account of their endings from someone else's perspective later on? If I write it out, those chapters basically won't have much significant overlap with Lin Yi. I'm worried you might feel that writing about them is padding, so I'd like to hear your thoughts.
ps: What these four go through next can basically be seen as what a normal operations team of investigator-like people (or rather, somewhat higher-level investigators) experiences in the anomalous Campus. It's actually not that easy to write, hahahaha... If you want to read it, I'll write it in more detail (even then, it won't be very long, about one or two chapters). If you don't, I'll keep it brief (a few substantial paragraphs or about half a chapter).
