As Mao Feiyang spoke, some of the surrounding gray fog suddenly dispersed. They seemed to be flying through the sky, with the Cemetery below them. Then, from somewhere, a surging wind rose, tearing at him until his will nearly split apart.
Then he saw an enormous mountain range, countless collapsing lines...
His vision began to flicker, as though he were passing through one world after another. Those lines were sometimes complex and sometimes minimalist, suddenly full of order, then completely illogical. Lin Yi began bouncing between "comprehension" and "incomprehension." Familiar yet unfamiliar sensations filled his senses, alternating between things he could understand and feelings that were utterly indescribable, seemingly tearing his consciousness apart...
Lin Yi felt as sick as if he were getting carsick. His stomach churned constantly, as though he were about to throw up. He paused, only then realizing that Mao Feiyang had long since gripped the Feather Sculpture tightly in his hand. During this round of "layer leap," the edges of the Feather Sculpture were disintegrating at a terrifying speed.
It was like scattering ashes from his hand.
Gradually, Lin Yi saw the lines of the surrounding layers continually loosen. Then, as though some kind of order were gradually emerging within this utterly chaotic space-time, they slowly formed outlines filled with continuous lines.
Finally, wrapped in the Feather Sculpture's powder particles, Mao Feiyang stepped into these newly outlined lines...
The moment he landed, he was like a feather falling to the ground, so gentle that he made no sound at all.
But at the same time, an invisible ripple spread outward from Mao Feiyang.
"Hum..."
Immediately afterward, color washed over the entire world.
Rather than color washing over it, though,
