• Sima Lingzhen killed Cave Lord Huaiwu and the Evil Hatred Yin Victory Demon, while Chen Heng survived beneath the rubble and later told Wei Lingjiang the demon was gone.

Chen Heng survived the Earth Abyss, claimed the Yin-Eroding Red Water inheritance, and grew powerful enough to draw True Lord Qiao’s attention. As he traveled toward Golden Drum Cave, Yue You intercepted him on Chen Jade Pivot’s orders, and Chen Heng prepared a close-range counterattack.

• Chen Heng killed Miss Yue, advanced his cultivation by absorbing ghosts, and learned from Song Rupu about the Yin-Eroding Red Water scripture and its deadly trial.

After the Blood Demons devastated the Mysterious Truth Sect, Chen Heng was taken to Jade Dawn School, where factions moved to destroy his Dao foundation and Mi Jingshi tried to protect him.

• Chen Heng established his foundation under Little Pure Yang Thunder, but Yue You nearly killed him before Qiao Yubi intervened, slew Yue You, and carried Chen Heng away to recover.
• Chen Heng healed in the Six Dragon Cauldron, learned alchemy from Cui Jingzhong, and was told by Qiao Ting that the Beast-Head Token tied him to a betrothal.

As he prepared to enter the Flowing Fire Grand Transformation Grotto-Heaven, he formed a secret alliance with Jiang Daolian and approached Xie Huizhai’s Wine Vessel Assembly.
