Lin Shisan returned from the Dragon Palace with Bai Youyou and Zi Yuner, defeated Ning Jiuyou, and reclaimed his place in the Danyang Sect by drawing its legendary sword. After becoming Saint Child and facing new departures and reconciliations, he followed a servant to meet Hu Niu.

• Zi Ning survived the Five-Colored Lightning Tribulation through the Purple Sky Dragon King’s sacrifice and took charge of the Dragon Palace while Lin Shisan reunited with Bai Youyou and escaped with her and Zi Yuner.
• Lin Shisan, Bai Youyou, and Zi Yuner entered the Ancient Lightning Pool, where Ning Jiuyou emerged through Xiao Han and Lin Shisan fought him until Zi Yuner destroyed Xiao Han’s body and Lin Shisan devoured Ning Jiuyou’s remnant soul.
• Lin Shisan and the two women returned to the Danyang Sect, where Long Yan’er welcomed him home and Feng Xian’er advanced to Early Sky Soaring after taking the Spring Water of Renewal.
• Lin Shisan defeated Ling Sheng and Xiao Ling in the Saint Child contest, then drew the Evil-Exorcising Sword and was recognized as the Danyang Sect’s Thirty-Seventh Generation Saint Child.
• After a month of cultivation, Lin Shisan advanced to Yellow Dragon fifth stage, and Elder Qingming investigated Zi Yuner’s bloodline without confirming his suspicions.
• Lin Shisan received the Saint Child Seal and defeated Liu Wuhen, while Bai Youyou departed for the Netherworld Palace to investigate the connection between Lin Shisan’s teacher and her sect.

Lin Shisan rescued Bai Youyou, uncovered the truth about his father’s death, and chose to free Gai Jiuyou in exchange for Qingxuan’s death. The plan to break the Nine Yang Cauldron’s seal erupted into battle, leaving Lin Shisan wounded, Zi Yuner besieged, and Gai Jiuyou still struggling to escape.

• Lin Shisan and Zi Yuner rescued Bai Youyou from Nan Ji, freed the Netherworld Palace elders, and watched Bai Youyou become acting palace master after the old palace master died.
• Lin Shisan placed the dao seed in the Nine Yang Cauldron, learned that the seal could be breached through Tianjizi’s hidden door, and helped reinforce it as the crack continued to threaten its stability.
• Qi Jian’s message led Lin Shisan to Xue Yaotian, who revealed Qingxuan had ordered his father Lin Qingxuan’s death and that she had planted the Heartlock to protect him.
• Lin Shisan resolved to choose his own path and arranged with Gai Jiuyou to free her in exchange for killing Qingxuan, while she instructed him to seize two formation flags.
• Lin Shisan activated a hidden formation during the seal reinforcement, trapping the pavilion as Zi Yuner fought Duan Qingcheng and Lin Shisan confronted Qingxuan.
• Qingxuan wounded Lin Shisan, but Zi Yuner protected him and gave him the Apricot-Yellow Eight-Formation Flag, allowing him to use both flags to summon Gai Jiuyou’s projection.

• Zi Yuner revealed her full power but suffered under the combined attacks, while Duan Qingcheng turned on Lin Shisan and Feng Xian’er failed to open the Bronze Gate as Lin Shisan prepared to stake everything.

Lin Shisan escaped the Nine Yang Pavilion with Zi Yuner and Mu Ling’er, then worked with Gai Jiuyou to recover her Dao Seed and restore the Ten Hells Gate. At Arctic Snow Mountain, he uncovered how the Little Black Cauldron could loosen the seal holding the Dao Seed and prepared to retrieve the Reincarnation Mirror.

• Lin Shisan freed Gai Jiuyou from the Nine Yang Cauldron, but Hu Niu stabbed him and Mu Ling’er died while saving him, and Han Yansong let Lin Shisan leave with Zi Yuner and Mu Ling’er’s body.
• Gai Jiuyou revealed that Mu Ling’er was in suspended death and offered to preserve her body while Lin Shisan recovered her second Dao Seed and three manjusaka flowers, and Lin Shisan took her to Netherworld Cave.
• After six months in the cave, Lin Shisan and Zi Yuner traveled to Nine Nether Mountain to retrieve Gai Jiuyou’s artifact, and they escaped Yue Wushuang’s traps with the real artifact.
• Inside the Hidden Vein, Gai Jiuyou merged with her Dao Seed for forty-nine days, then defeated Yue Wushuang and reclaimed her power, and she awakened the Ten Hells Gate and summoned its ten Sect Masters.
• Lin Shisan, Zi Yuner, and Gai Jiuyou traveled to Arctic Snow Mountain, where the Mountain Guardian explained that the Dao Seed was fused with the mountain and that the Little Black Cauldron had once helped seal its heavenly fire.
• Lin Shisan found an underground altar whose star chart linked the cauldron to the mountain’s seal, then used it beneath the Reincarnation Mirror to activate a spirit-vein node and loosen the seal.
• Lin Shisan said they could soon retrieve the Dao Seed and manjusaka, and planned to activate the remaining nodes after reviving Mu Ling’er, and he then declared they could retrieve the Reincarnation Mirror.
