After receiving the Ice and Fire Dragon Kings’ Origin Essence, he rejected the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan’s offer to return Bibi Dong and demanded compensation.

• Qian Xunji rejected Bibi Dong’s demand to be with Yu Xiao Gang, stripped her of her Saintess position and cultivation, took her Soul Bone, and expelled her from Spirit City.
• Yu Xiao Gang brought the injured Bibi Dong to the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan, where Yu Yuanzhen beat him and planned to return her to Spirit Hall.
• Qian Xunji evolved his martial soul into a Twelve-Winged Angel and led Ling Yuan and several powerful Douluos to the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, recruiting Dugu Bo by offering a way to contain his clan’s poison.

After Qian Xunji defeats Yu Yuanzhen and extracts heavy compensation from the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan, Yu Xiao Gang and the clan betray and imprison Bibi Dong. She eventually returns to Spirit City, but Qian Xunji rejects her and has her expelled, leaving her vulnerable to escaped Fallen Soul Masters.

• Yu Yuanzhen beat Yu Xiao Gang before Qian Xunji, who demanded compensation from the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan and defeated Yu Yuanzhen to claim the True Dragon Nine Crowns and other wealth.
• Qian Xunji returned to Spirit Hall, strengthened its elders with medicinal pills, and married Ling Yuan while Yu Xiao Gang and Bibi Dong held a small wedding in the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan.
• After Yu Xiao Gang failed to break Qian Xunji’s Holy Light Barrier, Yu Yuanzhen ordered him to drug Bibi Dong and handed her over to Yu Dalong and the clan elders, who could not break the seal.

Bibi Dong became the Rakshasa God’s successor and built an Evil Spirit Master force to take revenge on Yu Xiao Gang, while Qian Xunji brought Ah Yin into his family and pursued Spirit Hall’s reforms. The arc left two versions of Bibi Dong arguing over their shared body as Tang Hao’s actions set another future God King’s rebirth in motion.

• The Rakshasa God chose Bibi Dong as her successor, healed her, and set her first trials, which she completed by devouring her captors and winning her way through Slaughter City.
• Qian Xunji and Ling Yuan welcomed their daughter Chihiro Yuki, while Qian Xunji developed plans to serve the people and expand Spirit Hall.
• Bibi Dong gathered Fallen Soul Masters and Evil Spirit Masters, then began attacking villages and pursuing Yu Xiao Gang as he traveled with Flender and Liu Erlong.
• Qian Xunji took Ah Yin from Tang Xiao and Tang Hao, persuaded her that they shared a vision of peace between humans and Soul Beasts, and proposed to her.

The stretch ended with Liu Erlong returning to the sect after learning her parentage and Tang Hao being forced to marry and support Zhu Yingmei, the mother of his child.

• Qian Xunji exposed Yu Xiao Gang’s plagiarism, brought Ah Yin to Spirit City, and persuaded Chihiro Doriu to accept their relationship while keeping her identity secret.
• Qian Xunji gave Ah Yin a Transformation Pill, arranged their wedding, and sent invitations across the continent, prompting Tang Hao to train and vow to rescue her.
• Liu Erlong learned more about Yu Xiao Gang and Spirit Hall’s work for ordinary people, then asked to join Spirit Hall and grew to admire Qian Xunji.
• Tang Zhen and Tang Xiao imprisoned Tang Hao to keep him from the wedding, but Tang Hao escaped and accused Qian Xunji of forcing Ah Yin to marry him.
