"I said he's a fraud, and this stone is fake!"

Jiang Wan'er had already walked over, her almond-shaped eyes wide with anger.

Her words stunned everyone present.

A fraud?

A fake?

The man in the fur coat's expression changed dramatically. Recovering, he stepped forward and cursed, "Fuck, you little brat! What the hell are you talking about?"

As he spoke, he reached for Jiang Wan'er's collar.

Jiang Wan'er's expression changed, and she backed away!

"You're asking for death!"

Standing behind her, Jiang Tian's expression turned icy at the sight.

Just as the man's hand came within a few centimeters of Jiang Wan'er, a large hand suddenly shot out from the side and seized his wrist.

"Huh? Who the hell are you, kid?"

The man in the fur coat glared at the young man who had suddenly appeared.

Jiang Wan'er's face lit up when she saw who was beside her. "Brother, I knew you wouldn't really leave me to deal with this!"

Jiang Tian sighed helplessly. "You little troublemaker. Get behind me."

Jiang Wan'er nodded vigorously and hid behind Jiang Tian.

For a moment, she felt as though she were a child again, hiding behind her brother whenever she got into trouble.

Once Jiang Wan'er had stepped back, his expression turned cold again. He looked at the man in the fur coat and asked, "What were you trying to do? Hit my sister?"

Now realizing who Jiang Tian was, the man snapped, "Kid, if you can't discipline your own sister, I'll do it for you! I'll teach her that she can't just run her mouth!"

"Oh? Really? Who are you to discipline my sister?"

Jiang Tian sneered, then tightened his grip and shoved.

The man in the fur coat cried out, stumbled backward several steps, and landed heavily on the sofa.

"You little-!"

Enraged, the man grabbed the ashtray from the table and hurled it at Jiang Tian's head.

"Aah!!"

Strangely, although the ashtray had clearly been thrown at Jiang Tian, it somehow rebounded and struck the man in the fur coat on the head instead.

His scalp split open, and blood poured down his face.

The sudden turn of events shocked the store manager and the others. They hurried forward, stepping between the two men as the manager shouted, "What are you doing? How can you hit someone? Do you want me to call the police and have you arrested?"

"Have us arrested?"

Jiang Tian raised an eyebrow, then snorted. "You ungrateful fools. We're helping you, and you want to have us arrested?"

"Helping us? Helping us how? By beating up my customer?"

The manager ignored his words and spoke harshly.

Seeing how utterly ungrateful he was, Jiang Tian frowned deeply. He turned to Jiang Wan'er. "Wan'er, see that? Sometimes good intentions don't lead to good results!"

Jiang Wan'er had never expected the manager to be this stupid, and disappointment washed over her.

"Enough. From now on, just look after yourself. Stop sticking your nose into other people's business."

Jiang Tian shook his head and turned to leave.

"Stop right there!"

The man in the fur coat clearly wasn't going to let him off so easily.

Clutching his profusely bleeding head, he stood up and blocked Jiang Tian's path.

"What do you want?"

Jiang Tian's expression turned cold.

"You think you can just walk away after hitting me, kid?"

The man in the fur coat cursed at him.

"Exactly! You think you can hit someone and then leave? You're not getting off that easily!"

The manager stepped forward too, acting as though he were protecting the victim.

Looking at the hopelessly stupid manager, Jiang Tian couldn't help sneering. "You're almost adorably stupid!"

"What did you say? You still have the nerve to insult me?"

The manager's face darkened, then flushed with fury.

He had finally managed to find a valuable piece. If Jiang Tian ruined the deal, his year-end bonus would go down the drain too!

"Insult you?"

Jiang Tian shook his head and said coldly, "Even an insult would be a compliment to you. You'd help a swindler count the money he made selling you. If they ever make a sequel to Goodbye Mr. Loser, you should play that idiot Dachun. Otherwise, I'm not watching it."

"You! What exactly are you trying to say?"

The manager was red-faced with anger, but he still didn't understand what Jiang Tian meant.

"You still don't get it?"

Jiang Tian snorted and pointed at the man in the fur coat. "My sister just told you he's a fraud. Didn't you hear her, or are you deaf?"

"A fraud?"

The manager froze and glanced at the man beside him.

The man in the fur coat instantly reacted like a cat whose tail had been stepped on. His face flushed as he shouted, "Who are you calling a fraud?"

"You. You're asking thirty million for a fake piece of bloodstone. Do you really have no idea what it's like to catch a bullet?"

Jiang Tian looked at him mockingly.

"You... I..."

The man in the fur coat was about to speak, but the manager interrupted him and looked at Jiang Tian. "Young... young man, are you serious? He's a fraud?"

"What else would he be?"

Jiang Tian snorted, reached over, and flipped open the case containing the bloodstone.

The enormous piece of bloodstone was once again revealed to everyone.

The manager's expression immediately soured. He looked at Jiang Tian and said, "Young man, you can't just say whatever you please. I've already had our store's master appraiser examine this bloodstone. There's nothing wrong with it. How could it be fake? Spreading false accusations is against the law!"

"Against the law?" the man in the fur coat said coldly. "You could get shot for that, you know! How could my piece be fake? What does a wet-behind-the-ears brat like you know?"

Jiang Tian couldn't even be bothered to acknowledge him. Looking at the manager, he said, "That just means your appraiser lacks skill. How can someone that incompetent call himself a master?"

Master Liu, who had been watching the exchange, scowled and strode over. "Young man, what do you mean by that? Are you questioning my judgment? I've spent decades in this trade. You think I can't tell a genuine piece from a fake?"

"You've spent decades in this trade, and that's all the skill you have?"

Jiang Tian let out an incredulous laugh. "Then you really are hopeless at your job. You'd better change careers while you still can!"

"You!"

Master Liu's face also flushed with fury.

The manager held him back and looked coldly at Jiang Tian. "Young man, you claim there's something wrong with Mr. Jiang here. Fine. What evidence do you have?"

"Why should I tell you?"

Jiang Tian countered.

"Why?"

The manager's expression darkened, and his eyes narrowed. "I think you're just making things up and can't produce any evidence. Master Liu has worked in this trade for over thirty years and has never misjudged a piece. You're a kid who knows nothing, yet you dare make such outrageous claims. Who gave you the nerve?"

"Exactly. Enough wasting words on him. Just call the police!"

The man in the fur coat chimed in.

Instead of getting angry, Jiang Tian laughed.

"What are you laughing at?"

"How adorably stupid you are. One of you is full of himself, and the other is fooling himself."

Jiang Tian shook his head, then said, "Fine. Since you don't believe me, I'll show you what I can do!"

With that, he picked up a nearby glass of water and, without warning, splashed it onto the bloodstone!
