The recent plot developments seemed to have stirred up some controversy.
My original intention was to describe the changes in the Earth World from a ground-level perspective.
There are plenty of things you can't see from a higher perspective. Ordinary people have their own lives too. If I don't write about them now, when should I?
And letting Old Zhang show off a little along the way-isn't that a perfectly natural way to write it?
But for some reason, some readers suddenly lost it, saying that if I was going to pad things out like this, I might as well abandon the novel. Whatever the case, now that the plot has reached this point, I can't leave it halfway through. Besides, quite a few readers enjoy these developments, and I have to consider their feelings too (the number of readers keeping up is actually pretty decent).
The only thing I can do is update faster, so those who like this content can read more of it, while those who don't can get past it sooner.
That should be all right, shouldn't it?
Then let's do a mass release on August 1, and clear the chapters I owe the Silver Alliance patrons and Alliance Leaders while I'm at it.
