Seeing the low morale aboard the spaceship, Taize roared, "I have a feeling that as long as we hold on until the sun rises again, final victory will be ours!"
"Show your courage and protect our ship. You have permission to use the combat power detectors!"
The combat power detectors were their Unique Technology, capable of detecting the existence of "souls" at the cost of consuming Source of the World.
"Yes, sir!" the bearfolk roared, gripping their equipment tightly as they joined the fighting on the front lines.
Taize turned to another bearfolk. "Can we still contact Headquarters?"
"Unfortunately, sir, our World Will fragment has lost contact with Headquarters... This may be an extremely distant region." The technical expert looked bedraggled. The responsibilities on his shoulders were heavy.
A few more hairs fell from his already sparsely covered head, making him look like a big, bald bear.
"We can at least find out what this place is, can't we?" Taize asked.
"That reminds me of a theory." He suddenly slapped his forehead with the pad of his paw, producing a bang.
"What theory?"
"We might have fallen into a space junkyard!!"
"Wh... what?"
The expert explained, "The Demon God's Sea is a higher-dimensional existence. It isn't limited to our three-dimensional world."
"One part of it is the Demon God's Sea we see, the world in the usual sense."
"Other places are scattered fragments of space-worlds attacked by Demon Gods, or worlds left after a massive spatial collapse."
"According to some spatial theories, Spacetime Storms occasionally transport objects into these fragmented spaces... I call them 'space junkyards.' I invented the term, so it's perfectly normal that you don't understand it."
The bald expert gave an honest, good-natured smile.
Taize said gravely, "You mean this is a garbage bin we can enter
