"M-Mr. Chen Jue!"
"What are you doing here?" When John saw Chen Jue, his impatient expression instantly changed. Shock covered his face, and he shuddered, stumbling to his feet.
John had personally witnessed Chen Jue's devastating methods before. Back in Hezhou, Chen Jue had crippled Lin Tianchen and his men in just a few moves. In John's eyes, the Black Dragon Group guards waiting outside would definitely be no match for Chen Jue.
But then he thought of how his boss had once seriously screwed Chen Jue over, and how that feud remained unresolved. Meeting him again now naturally sent a chill through John's heart. He feared Chen Jue would take revenge on him.
After all, Chen Jue had joined the Antarctic expedition at his invitation.
Just as John hurried to his feet, his mind racing, Chen Jue suddenly moved from where he stood at the entrance, vanishing from the sight of both men in the room without a trace.
By the time John reacted, he felt an extremely powerful hand resting on his shoulder, kneading it gently, while a voice spoke beside his ear. "Don't be nervous, John! Relax!"
"Your Hong Mou Group really does have a broad reach. You even work with Japanese gangs."
"Oh, right, where's that old bastard Eugene? Where is he now?"
As Chen Jue spoke, he increased the pressure slightly. A piercing pain twisted John's face as his shoulder blade was squeezed almost out of shape. He hurriedly cried out in pain, "Stop! STOP! Mr. Chen Jue! Please, have mercy! Eugene went somewhere very far away. Even I don't know his exact location!"
"Somewhere very far away?"
"So Eugene landed on the moon too?" Chen Jue's expression shifted at this. He understood what John was implying. Only Second Home would make him so evasive.
