Every tendon and bone in his body was cracking, as though they were all sounding in unison. The dark-green snake scales on his yao body gave off a dull red glow, as though they had been boiled.
Drops of black venom could be seen dripping through the gaps between his scales. Each drop that struck the ground produced a layer of ice, and even corroded uneven pits into the stone bed beneath
