"Those seem about the same as werewolves?"
"They're very rich."
"Well... richer than you, Xu?"
"Much richer than me."
"Gasp!"
Having experienced the power of money, Pan Long was thoroughly intimidated.

Xu could buy a company on a whim after a quick look around. How terrifying would a force even richer than him be?
With that much money, how many hired fighters could they employ, how much equipment and weaponry could they buy, and how much black technology could they possess?

Seeing that Pan Long had been suitably intimidated, Xia Xu's expression turned solemn.
"Of course I do."
Pan Long nodded.
"Then you have to become even richer than them. You can't take them on alone with nothing but superpowers. You need enough funding to arm yourself with outside resources."
Xia Xu spoke solemnly.
Pan Long looked troubled. "I understand the reasoning, but how could I possibly become richer than them? I don't know how to run a business. I probably couldn't earn what you paid for that company in my entire lifetime, Xu."
"Hard work doesn't guarantee success, but without it, you'll never succeed. You can start with a small goal and try to earn a little first."
Xia Xu looked exasperated at his failure to live up
