"Dr. Feng, how is the Epiphysis Reactivation Technology coming along?"
After watching Uncle Luo and the others leave, Xia Xu went upstairs to the Drug Molecule Laboratory where Feng Wenbin worked and got straight to the point.
"There aren't any problems. Essentially, this technology reactivates the epiphysis by injecting a special substance. The structural information for the substance in the documentation is very clear, and I've already put together a preliminary synthesis plan. A mass-production process will still take time to work out, along with cooperation from experts in various other fields."
Feng Wenbin had been about to greet Xia Xu when he saw him, but stopped upon hearing his question and answered it with painstaking seriousness.
"No need to be so serious, Dr. Feng. The laboratory is your territory. I'm just passing through."
Xia Xu chuckled, then continued, "So the Epiphysis Reactivation Technology is ready for small-scale use, right? Have you done any biological testing?"
"We've conducted preliminary tests on laboratory animals, including white mice and white rabbits. The results have been fairly significant, but it still follows the normal biological development cycle. Scaled to the human development cycle, the effects may seem relatively slow."
Feng Wenbin relaxed a little, though he still sounded rather formal. After a brief pause, he added, "Also, growth hormone secretion may cease in adult subjects, so it will probably need to be supplemented with growth hormone injections, high nutritional intake, and similar measures."
"That's already enough."
Xia Xu nodded slightly.
The Epiphysis Reactivation Technology only reactivated the epiphysis in the first place. It was not a technology for accelerating growth, so naturally it had to follow an organism's development cycle.
A mouse might take only a month or so to reach adulthood from birth, while a human needed more than a decade. That
