Across the ocean, eight young men and women dressed in gray special operations uniforms were preparing to set out for the public Infinite City. Confidence filled their faces, and they exuded a presence far beyond that of their peers.
They were none other than the Tyrannosaurus Squad, an elite team among the Divine Eagle Federation's Fourth-Generation Beast Tamers.
"Rex, how many countries' Fourth Generation do you think will come challenge us?"
"No idea, but at least some of Xia Country's Fourth Generation should come. Ian did provoke them like that in his interview, after all."
"Haha. Can't help it. Just thinking about how the Dragon Artistic Conception every one of us has caused such a huge sensation when it appeared over there makes me want to laugh," Ian said.
"That 'Dr. Gu Qingyi' was just lucky, too. She might have obtained the first dragon-type through a special Breakthrough Secret Realm, but it looks like the next dragon-types, and more of them, will be coming from us."
Before setting out, they had gathered to discuss their upcoming open challenge. Just then, a researcher with short blond hair and a white lab coat pushed open the door and entered. Their discussion stopped abruptly.
"Dr. Carson?" Rex, the captain leading the eight, asked. "Is something wrong?"
The researcher looked at them. "Someone in Xia Country has responded to yesterday's interview. Not the authorities, though, but an individual-a Fourth-Generation Beast Tamer."
"He might come challenge you."
"It's 'Lu Ran,' the one whose pet beast is a Red-Eyed Hawk Lizard that comprehended Dragon Artistic Conception."
