White clouds drifted leisurely past the window.
Su Ping smiled at the three young women before him.
Qin Xiaoxue barely bothered to hide her fierce glare at Ling Xiaoxiao and Lu Xiaolu, who had entered the cabin and were looking around.
The two clearly paid no attention to their best friend's gaze, instead behaving like Granny Liu stepping into a sprawling luxury apartment.
They really did inspect everything, upstairs and down, except the cockpit:
"Xiaolu, Xiaolu, look! There's even a fridge here! We really can drink cola!"
"Yeah, yeah! It's even fancier than our dorm! Xiaoxiao, look here-there's a dedicated meditation room, too! You can use resources to increase the energy density!"
The two scampered all over, not settling down for even a moment.
What Qin Xiaoxue hadn't expected, however, was that Su Ping looked surprised as well:
"It can do that, too?"
Qin Xiaoxue nearly choked on her water, unable to catch her breath:
"You didn't know either?"
Following the two women, Su Ping nodded and looked at the mechanical meditation room:
"This is my first long-distance trip in it. When I came aboard before, I never had time to take a proper look. This really is my first time."
"Wow! What a huge lounge, and what a huge bed!"
They followed her into the lounge. Lu Xiaolu exclaimed theatrically, then turned to Su Ping:
"Well? Great Breeder Su, aren't you lucky Xiaoxiao and I came along? Otherwise, you'd be in danger! Who knows what Xiaoxue might do to you!"
Ling Xiaoxiao nodded along.
Su Ping blinked, momentarily failing to react.
Qin Xiaoxue's eyes went round, and she instantly flushed:
"Lu Xiaolu! Do you have a death wish?!"
Qin Xiaoxue strode over and grabbed Lu Xiaolu, whose face was full of pleas for mercy!
