as though it would stain the entire Myriad Spirits Codex.
That was all Su Ping felt.
Clearly, even the Myriad Spirits Codex was extremely cautious when facing this mark of the Death God's power.
For Su Ping, however, it had little effect.
The reason was simple: at this point, he no longer needed to do much controlling.
As it was absorbed, the ink-black mark was slowly drawn out. Then the darkness wrapped directly around the entire Myriad Spirits Codex, immersing it.
At that moment, Su Ping sensed something different.
He felt a change in that special origin mark in the deepest recesses of his soul.
There were actually quite a few origin marks deep within his soul.
The previous mark of the Heavenly Tomb's fire-the Death God's mark-was now completely gone. What remained were the World Tree's mark, the Dragon Gate's mark, and the one that truly belonged to him,
the Paper-Folding Man's mark.
Without question, this Paper-Folding Man mark might have been the lowest in standing.
Yet at this very moment, it was precisely this mark that was changing.
It shone brilliantly in the deepest recesses of his soul.
So brilliantly that Su Ping could barely take it.
Then, in the next instant, an indescribably peculiar sensation, a peculiar power, poured violently into his brain.
He knew that after the Death God Mark was absorbed, a record of a suitable category would be selected for a level increase. With no other choice available, it naturally could only be the Paper-Folding Man.
What he had not expected, however, was that this record's level increase would bring such an unforeseen development.
And so, before Su Ping had prepared himself in the slightest, he unceremoniously passed out.
