Su Ping brought thirteen extinct plant-element pet beasts to Woodland Heart and asked Zhu Hong to explain their histories, abilities, and needs. After learning why they had disappeared, Su Ping promised to protect them, leaving the newcomers to settle into their new home.

• Zhu Hong explained how Green Ant Moss, Wild Ball Fruit, Poison-Scaled Sulfur Grass, Illusory Dream Sleeping Lotus, and Snake-Root Wood had vanished, describing their unusual traits and vulnerabilities.
• Zhu Hong recounted how Immortal-Welcoming Ancient Pine had been taken as an ornament and warned that Blackgold Emperor Chrysanthemum could die out because its pollinating Blackgold Bees were extinct.

Su Ping discovered that his Dragon-Pattern Bamboo might be seeking an unknown evolution and agreed to let it try drinking Big Yellow’s Dragon Blood. After discussing new Forest Wolf breeding research with Guan Lili, he entered Earthheart’s construction site and found a hive of Bullet Bees guarding a tree.

• Su Ping offered the Dragon-Pattern Bamboo either resources to evolve into a Yin Snake Myriad-Forms Bamboo or Dragon Blood, and it chose Dragon Blood.
• Su Ping recalled a Forest Wolf whose unusual behavior had led to the Ten Thousand Woods Wolf evolution and suspected the Dragon-Pattern Bamboo might also sense a new evolution.

After inspecting the completed Iceheart and Heart of Snow, Su Ping was summoned by Meng Yao to discuss further developing Waterheart.

• Su Ping told the construction foreman to move the Bullet Bee hive into the Heart of Rock rather than destroy it.
• Designer Bai explained that President Qin had authorized financing for additional land, prompting designers to revise Earthheart’s plans; Su Ping ordered the Heart of Wilderness developed first.
• Su Ping reviewed the planned environments and facilities, then inspected Iceheart and the Heart of Snow and approved their completed designs.

Su Ping left to inspect Soulheart, where the changing aura near the Death Wheat Field drew the Fortune Cat Lord Bai out of his Beast Taming Space.

• Meng Yao urged Su Ping to focus on breeding Water Element pet beasts, but Su Ping explained that he had little time and needed to develop Fire Seed.
• Meng Yao showed Su Ping a planned Sword-Washing Pool that could strengthen weapon-type and Metal type pet beasts, and a Thunder-Attracting Thunder Pool designed to store lightning.

Su Ping brought Xiao Bai to the Death Wheat Field, where the cat’s affection unlocked its Record and revealed its Undead-type mutation. He then awakened the Extreme Yin Earthbound Spirit in Soulheart’s Land of Sighs, naming the newly conscious spirit Red Clothes.

• Xiao Bai controlled nearby Scarecrows with Soul Seizing, and Su Ping gave the cat Spirit Jade Soul Shards and agreed it could stay in Soulheart.
• Su Ping unlocked Xiao Bai’s Fortune Cat Record after the cat accepted his affection, gaining the Body Enhancement innate ability and learning that the cat’s mutation could be analyzed once the Record reached level three.
• Jian Yue and Bai Cang told Su Ping that the Land of Sighs was ready, and Bai Cang explained that Li Shu was at the Breeders’ Association helping Shangguan Ye evolve his Falling Seed Pine.
• Su Ping took Bai Cang and Jian Yue to the Ghost Castle and placed the Extreme Yin Earthbound Spirit into the Soul Urn at the center of the Land of Sighs.
• The Earthbound Spirit awakened as a girl in a blood-red school uniform, called Su Ping “Master,” and received the name Red Clothes.

After unlocking new talents and gaining insights from the Extreme Yin Earthbound Spirit's Record, Su Ping returned to Woodheart and discussed Jianghai Advanced Academy with Qin Erlong. Qin Chuan warned him that the Golden Society might be dangerous, and the chapter ended with the Heaven-Piercing Vine summoning Su Ping to stop Black Crow and the Extreme Flame Red Lotus from fighting.

• Su Ping discovered that his new Overlimit Spirit talent let him keep using Mental Strength after reaching his limit, and he noticed a lower-tier node path in the Extreme Yin Earthbound Spirit's Record.
• Guan Lili told Su Ping that Qin Erlong was waiting for him, and Qin Erlong persuaded him to occasionally visit Jianghai Advanced Academy and give lectures.

• Su Ping and Meng Yao sailed east aboard the Wavebreaker, following the Divine Wind Sparrow toward its flock.
• Meng Yao sensed something suspicious near the island and sent the Wavebreaker’s scout fish to investigate, revealing a Cherry Blossom Country ship flying the Red Oni flag.
• Red Oni Qiong and Yamamoto watched their beasts attack an adult Divine Wind Sparrow and two Wind-Splitting Stormhawks so they could turn the rare creatures into specimens for a Heart of Gold envoy.
• Red Oni Qiong’s Human-Headed Gu Huo killed one Wind-Splitting Stormhawk, then charged toward the wounded bird’s mate.

Su Ping challenged Red Oni Qiong to a battle after the Wind-Splitting Stormhawk was mortally wounded, and Yaya killed the Emperor Tier Two-Headed Demon Dove in a single second. The fight left Red Oni Qiong facing Su Ping and Meng Yao with one of his strongest pets dead.

• Su Ping used Life Essence on the dying Wind-Splitting Stormhawk but could not stop its vitality and soul from dispersing.
• The adult Divine Wind Sparrow attacked Red Oni Qiong's Two-Headed Demon Dove in a desperate attempt to avenge the Wind-Splitting Stormhawk.

Su Ping had Yaya fight Red Oni Qiong’s remaining pet beasts, and Yaya’s Nightfall domain made them lose all perception and attack each other before devouring them with black fire. Red Oni Qiong begged for mercy as his pets died, and Su Ping turned his attention to him.

• Su Ping refused to let Red Oni Qiong leave after the Two-Headed Demon Dove died and ordered him to continue the fight.
• Su Ping sent the Flying-Head General and Red-Faced Sword Demon to attack Yaya together.
