A Slickskin Monkey slid down the Giant Rock Elephant's trunk, slipping from the top of its head before flying into the air off the upturned tip. It tried to catch a Little Blazing Sparrow in midair, only to miss and land on a tree trunk in frustration.
The Contract Beasts that noticed laughed, and the Little Blazing Sparrow that had successfully dodged circled twice above the Slickskin Monkey's head, chirping as though mocking it.
Farther away, a Water Trumpet poked its head out of the lake and spouted a dazzling fountain. The water sprayed high into the air before falling over the Contract Beasts already waiting around it. With their fur soaked, they shook off the water and played together, having a wonderful time.
Unfortunately, a Flame Pig passing by happened to get caught in the spray. It turned and fled with a series of grunts, bumping into several Flower-Grain Mice nearby and soon setting off another commotion.
Watching all this quietly, Xu Ran looked a little more wistful.
Although the Starfire Foster Shop's Boarding Area was large, he had truly never seen such a lively scene there.
At a rough count, there were about a hundred Contract Beasts boarding here, more than the Starfire Foster Shop's capacity, yet it did not feel crowded at all.
Different Contract Beasts needed different boarding spaces, and those different needs had been integrated organically.
It was hard to say which was better, this place or his own Boarding Shop.
Even with the system, other Boarding Shops clearly still had things worth learning from.
"Senior Huī, do the other Boarding Shops use this boarding model too?" Xu Ran asked curiously.
"Of course not." It was not Huī Hétian who answered, but Huī Xīngwēi beside him.
There was a hint of pride on her face.
