• Xu Ran secured Strength Bone Dust from the Bamboo Leaf Martial Arts School after Purple Cloud defeated Lü Huang, then groomed Gu Wu’s dragons and gained Annihilating Thunder Palm for Purple Cloud.
• Xu Ran joined the Fierce Tiger Hunting Squad to seek a Thunderlight Stone Heart, found one at the resource site, and guided Purple Cloud through its cliff-climbing evolution ritual into a Flashing Thunder Cat.
• Xu Ran and Purple Cloud discovered a cavern containing a fallen Supernatural Creature with a saber embedded in its back, but they could not cross the barrier inside.
• Xu Ran returned to Qingzhou City, groomed Chen Xiyang’s Little Gray Gray, and learned that Gu Wu could help him obtain a Thunderlight Stone Heart.
• Little Gray Gray said goodbye to its stray companions, and Cat Boss later visited Xu Ran’s shop, where Xu Ran offered free grooming for the city’s strays.
• Xu Ran’s free grooming campaign helped seventeen stray Contract Beasts find Beast Tamers, while his Drugging skill advanced to B-Rank.

Xu Ran helped capture a kidnapping gang, advanced his shop and Contract Beasts, and claimed the giant beast’s relics outside the city. After rescuing the Fierce Tiger Hunting Squad and preparing Can Can for its evolution, Xu Ran set out with his companions for Cloud-Gathering City.

• Xu Ran helped Zhang He Nian track down and defeat the gang kidnapping minors, then trained Zhang He Nian’s Giant Golden Eagle and gained publicity for the Starfire Foster Shop.
• Xu Ran reached B-Rank, completed Main Quest 1, and gained Tony as a System Clerk to help manage the shop’s services.
• Xu Ran used the Fetal Breath Jade to hatch a Golden-Scaled Turtle, named it Can Can, and later contracted it after advancing to Third Tier Contract Power.
• Xu Ran strengthened Starlight and Purple Cloud with skill fusions and new abilities, then took them and Can Can to Thunder Half-Mountain, where Purple Cloud claimed a Thunder Pearl and Xu Ran claimed a powerful saber.

Xu Ran evolved Starlight and Can Can, strengthened his Contract Beasts, and secured new allies while preparing to expand the Starfire Foster Shop. He opened a branch in Cloud-Gathering City, where Ye Haoming and Qin Can planned to cause trouble.

• Xu Ran defeated Qin Can’s three Contract Beasts with Purple Cloud and Starlight, then encouraged Can Can after it felt it had held them back.
• Xu Ran groomed the Velvet Sparrow and Huo Huo, who died beside its former master’s grave after a final visit to the shop.
• Xu Ran fused Can Can’s skills, helped Purple Cloud improve its abilities, and took the group to search for Earth Element Dragon remains.
• With the Velvet Sparrow’s guidance, Can Can found Monarch Rank dragon remains and evolved into a massive dragon tortoise, then helped drive off the Marshal Rank Thunderhowl Sky Tiger.

As customers and rivals arrived, Xu Ran handled new boarding and grooming cases, while Fighting Hairball continued to struggle with memories of its Hunting Squad.

• Xu Ran groomed Ye Haoming’s Flame Barbarian Bull and Qin Can’s Contract Beasts, then learned about the city’s Beast Taming Rankings in exchange for future free grooming.
• Xu Ran registered as Starfire Foster Shop and sent Can Can, Purple Cloud, and Starlight to challenge rankings, where they scored highly in combat power, speed, defense, reaction, and size.
• Xu Ran entered the rankings himself, taking first place in individual battle power, then led his three beasts through the Overall Battle Power test to place Starfire Foster Shop fourth.
