Jiang Hao looked at his fist in frustration. He still wasn't used to his newly acquired Thunder God Body and Purple Lightning Azure Frost Fist.
I only used a little strength. Who would've thought a dignified Saint couldn't take even one hit?
Looking at the black-clad leader's unrecognizable face, Jiang Hao grumbled smugly.
Forget it. So what if I didn't get the answers I wanted? With the way assassins are, I probably couldn't have gotten anything out of him no matter how I tortured him.
The man was dead, and his questions remained unanswered.

Jiang Hao approached the pile of bodies and looked at one particular "corpse." Unless his eyes had deceived him, he seemed to have seen its fingers twitch.
Curious, Jiang Hao went over to the "corpse," pulled off his mask, and pressed his fingers against the side of his neck. After waiting more than a full minute, he finally felt a faint pulse.
With a cold laugh, he slapped the man's face and sneered, "Stop pretending. Keep it up, and I'll finish you off so you can sleep here forever!"
At Jiang Hao's warning, the "corpse" shuddered, abruptly opened his eyes, and pleaded, "Don't-don't kill me!"
Good, he's not dead!
"Talk. Who sent you?"
An assassin this afraid of death should yield something. As Jiang Hao spoke, the power of thunder gathered in his fist, the flickering currents crackling before the assassin's eyes.
The assassin went deathly pale with fright and hurriedly said, "Spare me! I'm not with them. I was just passing by-"
"You're lying through your fucking teeth! If you're not with them, why are you dressed just like them? Do you take me for an idiot? Are you going to talk or not?
