Su Mo recruited sea Soul Beasts and gained Gu Yuena’s support by proving the Soul Spirit System could benefit the Soul Beast race. After defeating the Titan Snow Demon King in the Far North, he faced the Snow Empress and Ice Empress together to win their agreement.

• Su Mo defeated the Evil Spirit Orcas with the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King and persuaded sea Soul Beast leaders to question Sea God Poseidon’s account of the whale king.
• Su Mo implanted memories in Xiao Bai, who began doubting Sea God Island after Bo Saixi asked her to help Tang San pass his trial.
• Su Mo revealed his strength and plans to Xiao Bai, who agreed to discreetly support the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King’s efforts against Sea God Island.
• Su Mo absorbed the Ice and Fire Dragon Kings’ remnant souls and Spirit Bones, then asked Ah Rou to arrange a meeting with Gu Yuena.
• Su Mo defeated Di Tian and demonstrated the Soul Spirit System by turning Bi Ji into a Soul Spirit, after which Zi Ji and Ah Rou agreed to follow.

Su Mo brought the Sea Soul Beasts together, defeated Sea God Island, and returned to heal Gu Yuena as the God Realm backed the Anti-Spirit Hall Faction. Tang San recruited the Strength Clan, while Liu Erlong told Su Mo of the threat and began a relationship with him.

• Su Mo defeated Snow Empress and Ice Empress, made them his Soul Spirits, and helped Snow Empress appoint A Tai as the new king of the Far North Land.
• Su Mo and his allies helped the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King, whom Su Mo named Lan Zhenhai, rally Sea Soul Beast clans against Sea God Island.
• Su Mo and the Soul Spirits fought Bo Saixi and the Seven Sea God Pillar Douluo, while Lan Zhenhai led the sea beasts in an attack on the island.
• Su Mo destroyed Poseidon's remnant soul, killed Bo Saixi, and helped the sea beasts wipe out Sea God Island as Poseidon rescued Tang San.
• The God Realm sent six divine officials to support the Star Luo Empire, while Su Mo returned to the Star Dou Great Forest and used his million-year Revival Light to heal Gu Yuena.
• Tang San recruited Titan and the Strength Clan for the Anti-Spirit Hall Faction, while Tailong secretly offered to inform Spirit Hall.

Tang San and Su Mo competed to win the Four Great Clans, splitting several clans between the Star Luo Empire’s faction and Spirit Hall. Su Mo then went to Gengxin City, recruited Lou Gao with the promise of weapon Soul Tools, and publicly punished a corrupt Spirit Hall branch.

• Titan’s Strength Clan split when the First Elder and most members chose Spirit Hall’s Soul Controller System, while Titan left with Tang San and several hundred followers.
• Titan and Tang San tried to recruit the Defense Clan, but Hu YanZhen’s offer divided it, and Titan and Niu Gao departed with those who refused Spirit Hall.
• Bai He agreed to join Tang San’s faction only if Tang San married Bai Chenxiang, while Su Mo persuaded a small portion of the Breaking Clan to follow him to Spirit City.
• Yang Wudi joined Tang San’s Anti-Spirit Hall Faction, and he, Titan, Niu Gao, and Bai He brought their clans’ followers to Star Luo Imperial City.
• Dai Tianfeng welcomed the clan leaders and arranged places for them, though the assigned territories lacked adequate buildings and facilities.
• Su Mo visited Gengxin City and showed Lou Gao a Fixed Soul Cannon, persuading the Blacksmith Guildmaster to go to Spirit City and study weapon Soul Tools.
• After Myers and his son confronted Su Mo at the guild, Su Mo defeated Myers, abolished his cultivation and those of his companions, and held a public trial.
• Su Mo executed Myers, his son, and the branch members found guilty of extorting the Blacksmith Guild, then punished other offenders and rewarded residents who had resisted them.

Tang San sought divine trials and weapons for his campaign against Su Mo, but Su Mo destroyed Slaughter City and forced Tang San to kneel. The divine trials left Dai Mubai and a few others as candidates while the Four Great Clans failed, and Su Mo emerged stronger after refining his harvest.

• Dark Sword urged Tang San to return to Slaughter City and pursue the Asura God’s power, while Tang San recruited Dai Mubai and sought to equip the Star Luo Empire with hidden weapons.
• Tang San and Titan tried to enlist the Blacksmith Guild in Gengxin City, but Si Long refused, and Tang San threatened to slaughter the city until Su Mo intervened and defeated Dark Sword.
• Tang San knelt and kowtowed to Su Mo, who spared him and declared Gengxin City neutral under his protection.
• Su Mo drained Slaughter City’s Blood River and cleared the city, leaving Tang San to arrive at its ruins and discover that his expected divine trial was gone.
• Dark Sword gathered candidates in Star Luo for divine trials, where Dai Mubai triggered the War God Nine Trials and Bao Lin triggered the God of Speed Nine Trials.
• The Four Great Clans’ representatives failed to trigger the God Nine Trials, while Tang San decided they were not worth risking his own inheritance to help.
• Su Mo refined the Tree of Life’s fruit and the souls of more than ten thousand Fallen Soul Masters and Evil Soul Masters, raising every Death God Scythe Soul Ring to one million years.
