While Gu Sheng was making arrangements for Ah Wu, He Xin hurried over to Hong Kong Island.
The moment he saw He Qing, he asked, "How did things get this bad?"
"That man's a complete lunatic. I couldn't stop him." He Qing sighed. She hadn't expected things to turn out this way either. If she had known, she wouldn't have brought He Yongfeng along.
But it was too late to say any of that now.
"You came over in such a hurry... Gu Sheng probably won't do anything for now, will he? He didn't lose out. My uncle's the one who'll be hard to explain things to..."
He Qing spoke as they sat in the car.
"Hard to say! Nothing that bastard does would surprise me. He stirs up trouble even when nothing's happened, let alone when something has. It wouldn't be his first time wiping someone out root and branch."
"Who could have predicted what happened to the Ma Family?" He Xin's expression was rather grave.
"Not to mention the Lee Family!"
"The Lee Family?" He Qing looked startled.
"They said bandits did it, but how could it be such a coincidence? Both members of the Lee Family happened to get killed. He happened to be right there, and he'd had conflicts with them!"
"Other people don't understand him, but I've been watching him since he was just a Boss."
"He wasn't even the Leader back then, but he already had the nerve to consider killing me!" He Xin gave a soft snort.
Judging by Gu Sheng's consistent way of doing things, he was ninety percent certain that, at their first meeting, Gu Sheng would have gone after him if they hadn't reached an agreement.
