Akai Hideto had only recently woken up in the hospital when Ah Ye arrived with her people.
"Mr. Akai, I heard you were ill, so I came especially to see you! Aren't you going to invite me in?" Ah Ye stood at the door, smiling, her eyes flashing with murderous intent as she stared straight at the two bodyguards blocking her way.
"Let her in..." Akai Hideto propped himself up into a sitting position.
"Remember those two!" Ah Ye told Qi Bao behind her.
Although the two bodyguards could not understand what they were saying, they could see the malice in their eyes. The hairs on the backs of their necks stood on end.
After Ah Ye entered, the people behind her placed several blooming lotus flowers by the bed.
Akai Hideto already looked unwell, and now his face was filled with anger.
Lotus flowers were usually used to pay respects to the dead.
"Our boss always says no one takes offense at too many gifts. I don't really understand your Japanese customs, so I brought you a gift according to ours!" Ah Ye sat down to one side and smiled.
"It's wonderful that you're all right, Mr. Akai. I wonder how your deliberations are coming along?"
"We're very sincere about this acquisition!" Ah Ye said meaningfully.
Very sincere indeed.
If he did not want to sell, they would have to replace him with someone who did.
Just as Gu Sheng had said before, if negotiations failed, they could simply negotiate with someone else.
"Is Ryoko still safe?" Akai Hideto asked coldly.
"You seem to be asking the wrong person, Mr. Akai," Ah Ye said with a smile.
"I've heard something about what happened to your family, too. I'm willing to have some friends help you look for your granddaughter!"
