Background / History

Lin Ye grew up under the care of his grandfather, Old Jack. He carried a mysterious jade pendant left by his parents and sought to uncover both its secrets and his own origins. After failing to advance the Nine Yang Divine Skill, he chose to attend the Martial Soul Awakening Ceremony in search of an answer. 2

Following his awakening, Lin Ye discovered that his seemingly ordinary Begonia Flower Martial Soul could emit holy light when infused with Nine Yang True Qi, promoting plant growth, healing injuries, and restoring stamina and mental power. He later learned that he possessed three Martial Souls rather than one. 7

His parents’ jade pendant contained a storage space, a letter, cultivation texts, and martial arts. Their legacy identified the Nine Spirit Immortal Begonia and Xuanyuan Sword as his key inheritances and directed him toward academy study, Soul Beast hunting, travel, and strategic Soul Ring absorption. 8 9

Lin Ye studied at Nuoding Academy alongside Tang San.
