I had planned to update with a hundred thousand words today.
But then I got a last-minute notice from Shuyan saying there was a truce with the Ascension Race today, and the new storyline hadn't been written yet.
My protest was rejected, so I had no choice but to take a day off.
As an author who loved writing, I had my plans thrown off by Shuyan, and it broke my heart.
I'd wanted to keep putting out content for everyone like a perpetual motion machine, but Shuyan's slacking caught me off guard.
Shuyan suddenly dropped the ball, like a player suddenly running out of mana in a game, and now I couldn't cast a single skill.
I knew a day without updates would leave everyone feeling empty, like a show suddenly freezing just when you were hooked.
But please believe me, this is just a temporary intermission. I promise I'll be back tomorrow.
One last thing: Shuyan sucks so much that even a hundred thousand words a day is beyond reach. I suggest Shuyan get the hell out of Monster World sooner rather than later.
In short, the root of the problem was that Shuyan sucked, not that the author wasn't hardworking.
