A set of data immediately appeared on the holographic screen.
It showed the gelatinous material's autonomous absorption efficiency upon contact with pure energy, while a dotted image of energy conduction automatically appeared on the light screen.
The chain reaction in this image made the ripples of energy spreading across the gelatinous surface clearly visible.
The figures displayed brought grave expressions to the faces of the three Eclipse Race Administrators present.
"Continue testing," Administrator No. 1, who stood at their head, said.
Another sample, taken from the beast's exoskeleton, was sent into the testing chamber. A particle beam bombarded its surface, and the energy readings updated rapidly.
This test measured its energy tolerance and compressive strength.
The data showed that the skeletal material's ability to neutralize destructive energy far exceeded that of any Spiritual Resources known on Earth.
As test after test proceeded, the results silenced all the Eclipse Race Administrators present.
They could be reasonably certain that the Floating Giant Beast's appearance was more like a probing attack.
Its purpose was to assess the combat strength of Earth's forces.
This was not a friendly act; in essence, it was also preparation for an invasion.
The reason was simple. Before beginning their invasion, the forces beyond the spatial rift could not determine Earth's combat strength and feared encountering a civilization they could not fight.
These were preparations any normal race would inevitably
