In the Lord of Bliss's design, this place was divided into two major regions.
First was the outer city, also known as Trial City.
Creatures recruited from the Western Paradise and even other Minor Worlds would undergo six trials in the outer city.
Only Elysium Players who completed the Ultimate Trial qualified to set foot in the inner city: Death City.
Reaching this place also meant obtaining a ticket into the Monster World.
From then on, they would explore the Monster World individually or in groups, searching for resources and opportunities.
Those among them would be granted an "Elysium Derivative Rule Imprint."
Elysium Players called it the "Evil Demon Brand." Through this brand, they could beguile creatures, making them generate greater returns than hunting them directly.
Beyond the spatial boundary of Trial City, the magnificent sight of Death City came into view.
A brilliant river of stars shone in the sky here, while blue auroras swayed overhead like silk.
Neon lights flashed throughout the city, and Elysium Players of every shape and form were everywhere.
Their clothing was equally distinctive, and most wore tense expressions. Though called Elysium Players, they lacked a player's recreational mindset.
For them, death could descend at any moment.
Staying alive was a struggle that demanded every ounce of their strength.
The busiest place in the entire city was the Central Square.
Elysium Players of different races gathered here, spreading out makeshift stalls on the ground.
Hawking, arguments, and all manner of sounds mingled into a boiling roar.
Most of the goods displayed on the stalls were resources obtained from the Monster World at the risk of their lives, or weapons, equipment, and items.
The only universal currency here was Elysium Points.
In Death City's function towers, these could be exchanged for rune skills
