"A whirlpool?"
Off White Bone Island, Mu You had encountered the same situation as Jack.
"How could a whirlpool appear somewhere like this?" Lin Xue was also somewhat surprised as she looked at the enormous whirlpool ahead.
She had not studied oceanography much, but she knew that whirlpools generally formed only where ocean currents met. For such a large whirlpool to suddenly form on a calm, flat sea like this was far too unusual.

Mu You checked the compass in his hand. As the ship traveled around the whirlpool's perimeter, the needle kept pointing steadily toward its center.
"In other words, the entrance is probably inside this whirlpool..."
"Would the Sky City Entrance have such an obvious sign...?" Lin Xue asked. To prevent other races from occupying it, Sky City should have concealed its entrance well. But the enormous whirlpool before them was far too conspicuous. Any creature nearby could see it.
"Normally, it shouldn't... I suspect the tsunami the Octopus King just created caused some changes at the entrance..." Mu You guessed.
Regardless, there was no other way forward now. They could only trust the compass.

At Mu You's command, the Ghost Crew aboard the ship swiftly got to work, furling every sail. Then the bow turned, heading straight for the enormous whirlpool ahead.
The dozen or so ships behind them were still pursuing, but they were far enough away that Mu You ignored them, watching as the Ghost Ship sailed smoothly into the whirlpool's outer reaches.
However, just as he thought the Ghost Ship would begin circling along with the whirlpool, a strange force within it seemed to push the ship outward.
