"Boss, you really do have a grudge against him, don't you?!"
Elsewhere, among the three who had fled a short distance away, Leo was asking the same question.
It had been far too obvious this time. Before attacking, Mu You had even specifically said he was going to "stab someone," then headed straight for Werewolf Boy.
"No grudge. I'm just farming a skin fragment off him," Mu You said.
"Oh, I see." Leo understood, without looking any deeper into why farming fragments meant repeatedly picking on one wolf. He added, "Should we go back and fight again, then?"

Mu You shook his head.
The Werewolf skin had three forms: human, werewolf, and giant wolf. Skin fragments only dropped when the wearer was killed in werewolf or giant wolf form.
When a werewolf revived after being killed, he automatically reverted to human form. Continuing to kill him then was useless; they had to wait for him to voluntarily transform into a werewolf.
"Oh..." Leo glanced back. Sure enough, Werewolf Boy was still in human form, securely protected in the middle of the pack, looking like a traumatized, helpless bottom.
"Looks like these guys really are determined to follow us..."
"Doesn't matter. Let's keep stringing them along!"
The three continued sprinting ahead, with the werewolves sticking to them like stubborn plasters.
With the trio's unpredictable movements, catching up was naturally no easy task for the werewolves, but at least they weren't being shaken off.
After both sides had spent over an hour in this chase, the situation finally changed.
"Huh?"
Watching the three backs ahead that he was almost sick of seeing, the White Youth suddenly frowned. "This direction isn't right..."
"What is it?" someone behind him instinctively asked.
"The direction they're fleeing in—they're taking a winding route that
