"Let's give it a try first."
With that thought, Mu You opened his backpack, took the Shapeshifter into the backpack space, and found a quiet area. Then he took out the Pen of Order and activated Order Sight.
Under Order Sight, the wooden carving in his hand instantly became a humanoid collection of runes. Amid the overlapping layers of flowing order runes, Mu You soon worked out its internal principles.
The entire carving was like a miniature version of him, containing a vast number of completely opposing personality factors, such as joy and anger, gentleness and obstinacy, optimism and pessimism. Combined, these personality factors counterbalanced and diluted one another, ultimately forming his current personality.
Now, he needed to separate all these personality factors and sort them into different clones.
Once he had seen everything clearly, Mu You wielded the brush and began dividing the personalities. Everything went as the Lamp Genie had predicted. After he forcibly separated out negative traits such as sloth, pride, greed, and envy, their opposing traits-diligence, humility, generosity, and tolerance-automatically emerged among the remaining personality factors. Moreover, the more purely he isolated one trait, the more prominent its opposite became.
Once the personalities were more or less separated, Mu You began allocating them.
Modifying an item was a process of actively changing order. Every stroke increased the deviation value within him, forcing Mu You to keep a constant eye on its changes.
Mu You's original plan had been to concentrate all the negative traits, including the seven deadly sins, into a single clone.
Unfortunately, he soon discovered that this was impossible-or rather, he did not have enough deviation value to squander. As the negative traits became increasingly concentrated, the deviation value cost also began rising rapidly.
"Looks like this will have to do..."
