Mu You raised his Intelligence, prepared to accompany Lin Xue on her final inheritance trial, and tried to enter Clockwork City, where the Goblins’ defenses killed him. While exploring the city’s outskirts, he followed his Inheritance Crystal to a robot wreck and discovered the Ultimate Masterpiece, a relic left by the alchemist Tariff Kent that required him to reclaim the Goblins’ Eternal Power Furnace.
Mu You equipped the TK2300 mech skin, scavenged enough components to bring the robot to life, and discovered that its damaged appearance made it a target for recycling robots. After destroying one without alerting nearby combat mechs, he gained a garbage-recycling robot camouflage form and recovered better parts, including an intact power furnace.
Mu You upgraded his mech disguise, entered Clockwork City, and discovered its magic crystal arrays could recharge him. After Ye Rumeng mistook him for an Autobot, Zhang Yang called him to a homicide investigation.
Mu You investigated the deaths of Red Sky Guild members and suspected that Red Sleeve Is Pregnant and Z Worldwalker had combined their abilities to kill them. He showed Zhang Yang the Knowledge Ancient Tree, which could permanently grant each person up to ten intelligence points, and began explaining how he had obtained it.
Mu You negotiated a one-year rental of the Knowledge Ancient Tree to the state while retaining limited control over its daily allocation. In Clockwork City, he scavenged a warehouse and upgraded his mech, finding a way to use Divine Power and an Overload Energy Pen to disable other machines.
Mu You stole a Rapid-Fire Shotgun from a Rat-Exterminating Robot and tested how Divine Power amplified its rapid attacks. After returning to Red Rose Academy, he learned he had advanced to seventh year and found three high-tier spells he could study.
Mu You studied advanced spells, improved his ordinary magic, and discussed the danger of Sky Cities flying too high with Son of Heaven, who identified Z Worldwalker as a possible threat. In Clockwork City, Mu You stole a Magnetic Attraction Guard’s component but could not install it, while his Scout Beetle uncovered a lead on an Ancient Power Furnace.
Mu You confirmed that the Clockwork Tower contained a Golden Gear, then infiltrated the Goblin Laboratory disguised as a cleaning robot and discovered a legendary Automatic Targeting Circuit. After his first attempt to enter the laboratory’s core workroom failed, he found a way to disguise himself as an authorized assistant robot and successfully froze one, leaving him poised to take its identity.
Mu You infiltrated the Goblin Laboratory disguised as an assistant robot and discovered Barney Wade was building a powerful mech using an imitation of the Eternal Power Furnace. At the Secret Art Meeting, Taurus identified Scorpio as an impostor, leaving the group facing a possible traitor.
Mu You exposed the false Scorpio as Z Worldwalker, who threatened the Association and tried to leave before Taurus trapped him with her power. After he escaped, Mu You identified a possible weakness in his escape ability, warned the members to stay cautious, and resumed the meeting, where he traded for two spell cards.
Mu You warned Lin Xue and Nine Nether about possible threats, then learned Leo had lost the race to become Blazing Sun City's lord but secured a powerful deputy position. After helping Barney finish the Ancient Power Furnace in Clockwork City, Mu You stole it, escaped the lab, and was buried when a swarm of mechs opened fire.
Mu You fused three legendary devices into his mech and fought his way through the goblin army in Clockwork City. Barney Wade recognized him as a Fool Descendant carrying the legacy of the goblins’ ancient victim and ordered the city to kill him before he could escape.
Mu You escaped the Goblins by disguising his mech, destroyed the Clockwork Tower to seize the Golden Gear, then logged off before they could find him. He prepared to enter the door with Lin Xue for her inheritance quest, while Lin Xue arrived encased in iron armor.
Mu You, Lin Xue, and Vivian entered the Tomb of the God of Death after activating its entrance with Lin Xue’s scythe. They found themselves in the Outer Domain rather than the Star Spirit World, leaving them concerned that death there would be permanent.
Mu You and his companions crossed the deathly plain, where he discovered and hunted Mutant Soul-Eating Beasts before they approached the skull-shaped mountain. When Red Sleeve Qiluo came alone to claim the Map Fragment, Mu You’s group ambushed and killed her, but her body became a cross instead of leaving ordinary loot.
Mu You repeatedly rewound his death until he realized Z Worldwalker could stop time, while Vivian revealed she could move during the frozen world. Z Worldwalker saved Red Sleeve and crippled Lin Xue, then sent Red Sleeve toward Skeleton Mountain to seek the God of Death Inheritance as he stayed behind to face Mu You.
Mu You and Lin Xue confronted Z Worldwalker, whose time-stopping ability let him prepare devastating attacks inside the Stillness Realm. After Vivian explained the ability’s limits, Mu You survived two barrages, counterattacked, and discovered that Z Worldwalker’s time stop had a cooldown.
Mu You trapped Z Worldwalker and freed Lin Xue to pursue the God of Death Inheritance, then fought Z Worldwalker by countering his time stop with prepared defenses and decoys. The chapter ended with Z Worldwalker realizing he could not overcome Mu You’s counters.
Mu You and Shadow Wolf outmaneuvered Z Worldwalker’s Time Stop, severed his right arm, and prevented him from escaping or killing himself. Z Worldwalker fled toward Skeleton Mountain, hoping Red Sleeve would obtain the God of Death Inheritance.
Lin Xue and Red Sleeve entered the God of Death’s burial chamber, where the Watcher demanded that each sacrifice what she cherished most to claim the inheritance. As Red Sleeve attacked Lin Xue, Lin Xue’s grandmother’s remnant soul awakened to protect her, leaving Lin Xue to run for the throne while Red Sleeve fought to break free.
Red Sleeve and Lin Xue raced to claim the God of Death's inheritance, but Lin Xue's devotion to her grandmother let her accept the inheritance while Red Sleeve recoiled at its cost. Lin Xue reunited with her grandmother in a vision, then awoke transformed and attacked Red Sleeve as the cavern shook.
Lin Xue wielded the God of Death’s power to devour Z Worldwalker’s soul, but a sudden time stop allowed Red Sleeve and a mysterious baby to escape with his remains. Mu You learned the stop was caused by the baby, obtained a damaged Time Sensor containing a fragment of the Heart of Time, and upgraded his Pocket Watch before Vivian warned that the fragment’s thief would be hunted by the Time Guardians.
Mu You recovered useful loot from Z Worldwalker’s death while Red Sleeve and the old man regrouped in the Star Spirit World. On Earth, Lin Xue woke with blurred vision, learned she could see through a summoned Warhawk, and explained her God of Death Inheritance as Mu You began considering how others might obtain Divine Power and God Skins.
Mu You learned that Clockwork City had vanished from its former location, then returned to Dawn City and opened its new Dungeon. He announced a citywide push to explore it, but the first teams quickly discovered that the Dungeon was far more dangerous than expected.
After players shared their first Dungeon experiences, Mu You assembled a team with Lin Hai and Summer Insects Speak of Ice to explore the first floor and find the exit. Their run began smoothly but cost them Red Sickle Girl, and Mu You later chose to leave a Spore Fungus nest intact for its poison glands.
