It was also a fairly advanced piece of surgical equipment, and somewhat complicated to operate. But Vic had experience with cyber-surgical tables, so he got the hang of it quickly.

"But compared to the Original Firmware Group Driver, it definitely won't be as smooth. We'll have to make do."
"Make do?" Lier shook his head. "How can we make do with this thing?"
"But they're already the best at this in the city. Anyone better, and you'd have to go to a corporation."
"Not necessarily. I'll optimize it for you."
