Jackie was born in Night City and identifies strongly with Heywood. He previously belonged to the Valentinos and was something of a leading figure within the gang. Although he is no longer a member, its emphasis on blood ties and mutual protection continues to benefit his family and his mother’s business 33 48.

When introduced, Jackie is short of money and seeking help transporting corporate cargo across the border. His connections include Padre, whom he calls his fixer, and Vic, whom he considers the best ripperdoc in Night City 32 33 36 47.

Jackie is protective of both family and friends. He helps rush Lier to medical care, later waits outside his mother’s establishment because he worries Lier might be robbed, and demands retaliation after Sixth Street attacks the venue 37 47 48.
