Pfft-
The violent tremor in Cyberspace nearly damaged every Hacker's cognition, knocking them offline on the spot. And this virtual space had never been disconnected from reality.
Muramasa, a technology-specialist-type Dangerous Critical Entity, had easily triggered a massive fire:
The Hackers caught up in the attack were burned through on the spot. Those using Servers as safeguards fared even worse: the Servers burst into flames, spraying high-temperature sparks and debris, and the fire instantly spread through the entire studio!
The attack spread along wired and wireless connections, then burned through the equipment. Countless devices scattered throughout Dogtown went up in flames on the spot. The fire and debris then caused secondary fires and explosions. A conflagration was sweeping through Dogtown-
Faint black-red lightning kept spreading through the cables. Some Drones near antennas connected to wireless signals malfunctioned on the spot; their indicator lights flashed twice before they fell to the ground. The Drone Mechs went further, triggering their safety modes and going offline, entering low-profile defensive stances.
Meanwhile, the Hellhound technicians stared in confusion at the Mosaic and unstable signals on their visual systems. And all they had to do was raise their heads slightly to see the black smoke and flames continually rising over Dogtown.
What now?
At the Long Beach Junkyard, the attacker was caught in a violent struggle!
"Ugh-ah!"
Bang!
The burning cable erupted in a fierce shower of sparks. Susan Forester, who had already fought Reed directly, acted decisively and yanked out one of the cables!
Right in front of her stood a muscular Black man. He hadn't reacted at all. Only after the cable had been cut did he speak:
"Cutting the power cable of a Hacker still deep diving like that will get her killed!"
"An ordinary Hacker might have problems, but Songbird won't.
