It all made sense...
Qin Manjiang gradually understood everything.
Why were the original forty-nine Spirit Pupils represented by larger numbers in the Ghost Story Game?
Because as one Ghost Story Game after another unfolded, the power contained within those original forty-nine Spirit Pupils was no longer complete. The Spirit Pupils parasitizing the original forty-nine people leaked their power little by little with every eruption of their hosts' fear.
One day, the Spirit Pupils would become empty shells parasitizing human bodies, and all their power would be reclaimed by the Red and White Pupils.

Jiang Du explained, "That's also why I believe our original world had no supernatural power. Only rejection at the level of its rules could possibly suppress beings with supernatural abilities like them."
For some reason, Qin Manjiang thought of that young man who wore gourd-shaped pendants on both ears.
Did that world have no supernatural power...?
Although Jiang Du's judgment made sense-if that world's rules simply did not allow supernatural power to exist, then any god entering it would be rejected, their power restrained and suppressed. That did hold up.
Yet Qin Manjiang felt that if this rejection came from the rules themselves, even the red and white light from the battle between the Red Pupil God and White Pupil
