The lights came on.
To Qin Manjiang's surprise, this was still the Yuelai Hotel, but the floor beneath his feet had cracked and buckled, as though something underground was about to push its way up.

The instant the light returned, the screaming crowd rushed madly outside.
Qin Manjiang glanced around but saw no sign of Flower for the moment.
Meanwhile, a horrifying scene was unfolding in the banquet hall that had been so lavish just moments before.
Five women were pinned to the floor, screaming hysterically. Five men with contorted faces held them down with both hands, their eye sockets pitch-black.
The men shouted, "I love you so much..."
"I really love you so much..."
"Why don't you believe me?"
"Why are you leaving me?"
"What else do you want me to do to prove my love?"
"Tell me!"
"Say something!"
Were these five men being mind-controlled?
Qin Manjiang's gaze cooled slightly. Was this the ability of tonight's Moon City "hunter"?

Roaring madly, the men lunged at the women they had pinned beneath them.
The next instant, the five women pinned to the floor let out desperate screams.
Their cries were so piercing that even the people fleeing the hotel could not help briefly stopping to look back.
The five men had opened their mouths like madmen, their teeth covered in blood as they savagely tore into the women!

The women's screams sent chills through the women.
But how could their strength possibly match that of the men pinning them down?
Their struggles grew weaker and their screams gradually faded, until... they stopped moving altogether.
