Qin Manjiang and [Abyss] were climbing toward the mountaintop.
The two chatted briefly along the way. Qin Manjiang said, "How about we go through the logic from the beginning?"
Abyss nodded.
"First, this world is [One]'s spirit world, but it isn't entirely under [One]'s control," Qin Manjiang said.
Abyss nodded. The reason was simple: if he controlled everything the seven children did in the "spirit world," he would have had no need to embellish that memory. He could simply have deleted it.
Yet he clearly didn't want the [Seven Children] to see the true memories, and could only conceal them through "embellishment," rather than erase them outright. Methods like these were the best supporting evidence.
"Why doesn't he want the [Seven Children] to see the true memories?" Although Qin Manjiang asked the question, there was no confusion on his face. "Because although the [Seven Children] were born inside him, like this spirit world, they aren't entirely under his control. Letting the children learn the truth would have consequences that work against him..."
Abyss looked at Qin Manjiang and said, "So he embellishes the memories and makes the seven children inside him do the same thing over and over."
"Yes." Qin Manjiang nodded. "The [Plot Enactment] phenomenon occurs because, in this round of the spirit world, the [Seven Children] are still repeating the plot he laid out, but the players' arrival disrupted the original course of events."
"Every time the plot changes, Spider Woman appears."
"But Spider Woman doesn't arrive right in front of the [Seven Children] and kill them. Instead, she gets closer as the extent of the [Plot Change] increases," Qin Manjiang continued.
"There's a force restricting her." Abyss stepped in Qin Manjiang's footprints, responding as he climbed. "It's [One]'s consciousness. He's stopping Spider Woman from approaching the seven
