Qin Manjiang spun around. The ghostly white Vengeful Ghost behind him had vanished.
He first looked toward Shen Hai and Chen Zhiyuan. The Game hadn't said he couldn't ask for outside help. He had counted down with his eyes closed, but Shen Hai and Chen Zhiyuan could see everything the ghost did. He could simply ask them.
But when he turned his head, he discovered that Shen Hai and Chen Zhiyuan had completely disappeared.
Not only had they disappeared, but everything beyond this patch of lamplit ground had turned to utter darkness. He couldn't even make out any outlines!
What an "advanced" anti-cheating measure.

The entire illuminated area was only about the size of two basketball courts.
